I have no idea how long I spend in front of the computer. I really do not keep count. I do have a timer, but sometimes I forget to put it on and it seems that I am always getting up when I am myLotting, since there is always something interesting going on. I have to figure it out. I get up at 7:30 and am on the computer, read the bible, and work until eight then have breakfast. So from 9 to 10 I am working on the computer, equals now 1 and one half hour. I take a walk, then am on about two or three hours for the rest of the day. You see what I am getting at? I do not punch a time card so I do not have the slightest idea whether today I will work four hours, or tomorrow three, or Friday I worked five hours on the computer. It varies. And since I do get up every now and again, it might be less at the computer than I thought.

I am sure that is the case , but I cannot stay sitting down for that long. I know I get advise from writing sites and piano sites as one has to sit down and do such a such for at least 45 minutes and I wonder how can one do it without your eyes tiring? Now with iphone and ipad it is typing with one finger and cannot write as fast as u am used to. Anyway thanks for the best response,

I think you should take frequent breaks in between if you spend long time in front of the computer.

2-4 hours only. My eyes gets tired when I am in front of computer for almost 5 hours. When I feel sleepy, I just put my laptop standby mode and I will check it tomorrow morning. If I am tired and feel like hungry I just take some breaks like eating or drinking and even taking some naps between intervals of hours doing my work in computer.

Even thought I keep a clock next time me so I can see it while working on my computer. I tend to spend a-lot of time in-front of the computer. I'd say about 6 or so hours average. But seeing as my job and hobbies are both on the computer it is no wonder that I am always in-front of the computer.

Right now, I spend a lot of time in front of a computer. I just got a job where I read to people who call about a product and try to get them to place an order for the product. I do that 20 or more hours per week. But I have other jobs that don't include computers. Then I try to go to Mylot and Helium often, but this past week, I was too busy to go to either site. TAke care

I am working as programmer and I spend more than 10 hours in front of computer. Sometimes it sucks and myLotting is one of my favorite activity to make me stand being in front of computer longer, or I would just get frustrated by the job. I also try to take frequent breaks between few hours or even every half an hour to make sure that my fingers won't get cramps. since I still love my eyes, I would also have some breaks to look at another direction.

I would LOVE to do medical transcription from home. I've been looking for weeks for a job I can do from my home office. I've done the work in the past, but I don't have training for it and these days everyone wants speed and formal training. As for hours - lately more than usual because I'm looking for a job. So I'd say I spend about 5 hours a day or so on here now.
