My best friend and I are about to start planning our 10 year highschool reunion. We didn't have a 5 year. Did you go to your reunions? How was it? What activities were there? I would love any ideas or help for where to start planning this.

Hello ravinskye..I have not tried our High School reunion but when I met my friends who attended, they said it's so much fun and so much talking..LOL, Since the batch didn't meet for like 10 years and there are so many changes already...Time given for each to talk/update everyone about his/her life, then eating time, then some classmates prepared games for everyone, then dancing and drinking..I wish I will have a chance to attend next time!

I have never been to any of my reunions but I sure wish I did. Since there were only a small group of us hanging around in high school I thought why even both going? Since then I visited various websites and actually had a chance to interact with many people that I knew of in school and I so wish I could have seen them in person! Good luck with all your plans! It will be so much fun!

I go to my highschool reunion every year. We have it every year, and sometimes every a half year. I love gathering together with my old friends and classmates. It's great to talk with them. That recalls my memory in highschool. It's nice to hold this in the open air. A bbq party is a good choice.

I've attended our high school reunions so many times. I think the first one was held in our school and the following get together were held at our classmates houses. We tried also outdoor reunions like at the beach and some resorts. We really had so much fun, singing, playing, and of course eating . Our batch made it sure that we could make it every year. Though not all could attend because we are already scattered to different parts of the world. In fact I was also absent during I think the past 3 years already. But I am always looking forward for it. Hope I could attend this years reunion.

I attended my high school reunion every year for about 3 to 4 times. As time passed away all my classmates migrated to diffent places. Thanks to Orkut, i met some of my classmates online. I have few class mates who are still in close though with me whom I call best friends. It might have been great experience for yout to attend your school union. Share your experiences.

My 10 year reunion hasn't come around yet for high school or college. I have a few more years for that. But I do plan on going to it. I would like to see some people I haven't seen since then and see how their views on life and other people have changed since then. I also kind of want to see how they have changed.

I was home schooled, so there was no real high school reunion. Not the happiest time of my life being separated from friends. My mom kept trying to recruit me into her business to work as free labor, which wouldn't have been so bad if there wasn't so much manual labor involved.

I did not go to my reunion. I don't see a need. I am close to all my close friends from high school. There are 4 or 5 of us. We keep in frequent contact. Life is too short. I'd rather spend time looking forward. I recieved an invite to my last reunion 2 months ago. With meal, music, year books etc would have been too costly. $400 if I took my hubby with me. And we live in the same town the reunion was held in. Can't imagine for people that have moved .

I've gone to my 10 year reunion... I was glad to see some of the people I haven't seen in years... Few couldn't make it due to their moving to another states... I went alone because my ex & I weren't getting along too well at the time... I ended up talking to a lot of high school friends... I don't remember much about what was going on at the time except talking to people, danced a little, drank a little... The way I see it, there's nothing much to really prepare for it... Just show up as yourself & have fun, whatever is going on... I'm sure you'll be too busy remembering things to care about anything else...

Well, it's always ok not to go to highschool reunions if you dont feel like it but people might think you are cocky but it wouldnt matter if you dont carewhat people think about you.
