I think what they mean is when you change your oil regularly, your car should run better, and if your car runs better, then you get better gas milage. So what they said is the truth in some ways. I don't know if it will make a difference that you can tell. But it is important to keep the oil changed on the car to preserve the engine.

I have also heard that this is true. There are many things you can do to your car to improve gas mileage. Keeping the proper amount of air in your tires is one of them.

Changing your oil regularly along with having air filters cleaned and oil filters replaced will save you on fuel expenses. The dirtier the oil, the harder it is for your car to use it properly. The dirtier the air filters, the harder the engine has to work to keep things running. The recommendation is to have your oil and air filters serviced as well as a complete oil change about every 6-12 months, depending on how often you use your car.

I think that if you get regular oil changes, the car runs better. And therefore avoid any mechanical issues. And when you do this, you don't waste any gas, thereby saving it. I think people with older cars don't bother with the regular oil change, that's why their cars become gas guzzlers.

I also think that it is good to change oil and oil change will help to save money on the gas, peterol, or diesel. I think it is good to say make oil change once in a while

Preventive maintence saves you both money in gas and repairs. If it is all clean and fresh, the motor and such doesn't have to work so hard, thereby saving gas!
