Is Weather crazy where you live this Year?

I live in the North coast of Spain. Winters here in the coast are not really cold, but fresh, and very rainy. Then normally springs and autumns are a bit warmer and moderatedly humid. And finally, summers are drier and hot, but not too much. Well, that happened until this year. We have had the driest winter in 35 years, and also one of the warmest. You could literally wear a tshirt in some days of january. Definitely not normal. And then, winter was over and spring came....and it's been the rainiest spring in 35 years!! I hadn't seen this amount of rain one day after the other in my life, and be sure I'm used to rain. Has this happened where you live? Do you think it's because of the Climate Change or a mere coincidence?

It's a bit unusual here in my country this year since we had a rainy summer.Since I live in a tropical country, we only have 2 seasons, the wet and dry season. Dry season is summer but to our surprise, we had a rainy summer this year. According to weather reports, its due to la nina. But for me, it is something unusual and is attributed to climate change. We also experienced extremely hot days which we didn't get to experience years ago and again its due to climate change. Extremes... that is how I could describe it. We never had snow here but somewhere north of my country, we had some snow this year. Now, that is extremely strange.

Hi LightninStrike! I live in the Philippines, we only have dry and wet season (summer and rainy season). Summer here usually starts at March and ends in May and June until around September is the rainy season and October until January to February is somewhat cold minus the rain and typhoon. Anyway, this summer however was as HOT as burning hell. I experienced too many migraines because of the heat. I couldn't leave the house especially after 10 am cos that's usually the hottest part of the day. I know summer is meant to be sunny and everything but the heat this year is too much. Now it's June it's supposed to be rainy and cold but it's not. It just started raining but only in the late afternoon. The annoying thing is that in the morning, it's still too hot. Like you can feel your muscles inside your body burning hot. I blame this on global warming. Like the Inconvenient Truth documentary of Al Gore. I think it's true and we shouldn't just ignore it. Let's help save Mother Earth for the next generation! Cheers!

Yup I agree with most of the things you said...we must help our earth to stay healthy because after all it's the only home that we have! Thanks for adding me as your friend.

Yes, the same here in New Delhi (or say complete north India). Its May, June, the month of extreme heat. The temperature rises above 45 in Delhi and near 50 in some areas. But surprisingly this year uptil now we are getting rain almost eery day. Almost complete May was in rain and the same is in June also.

Hi LightninStrike! Weather here in our country is really hot nowadays. Summer was supposed to be over last May. This month of June should be the rainy season but we are still experiencing hot weather. Our temperature plays at around 35 Celsius on the average everyday. I think we are all experiencing climate change worldwide. Take care and God Bless!

I see that where you are it's nuts as well. It must be a global thing, not just local I guess. Don't think I'm relieved to know that! thanks for replying.

There are really lots of changes in our weather this times, not only in your country but also here in our country. I live in the Philippines and we have a tropical climate here. We have hot and rainy season. During the months of March - May, we usually have the summer season when its very hot and most of us even would flunk the different beaches here. But this time, we experienced rainy season and typhoons in March and April. During the last week of May and starting June, we usually had rainy season. However, now we experienced a very hot climate. Surely, our climate is changing now and probably because of damage in our environment.:-(

The weather here is actually scary. We usually don't experience tornadoes and heavy thunderstorms. In fact, yesterday was the first time I've seen it hail since I was 8 or 9 years old (that's 20 years ago). We've been experiencing some pretty freaky weather lately. Very severe thunderstorms, tornado watches and warnings, hail warnings, damaging wind warnings...this is highly unusual for our area. Our weather patterns are a product of our treatment of our environment. I believe Mother Nature and Mother Earth are gearing up to stabilize and balance what we have put out of balance and we are seeing the beginnings of this attempt at balancing the problems we have created through pollution, mis-use of resources, and general maltreatment of our environment.

Hi, I live in India, Gurgaon and this time we are having good rainfall as Moonsoon is going on. I haven't seen this kind of good weather in my time span in Gurgaon (Delhi). When i came to Delhi for the first time that was my bad experience in my life i have ever had for the kind of weather in Delhi really believe me it was too hot at that time almost about 46-50 degrees celcius. But luckly this year is going good. bye.

well , at the begining of this year , we suffered the big snow which never happened over 20 years in the south of my country ,because of this many people coundnt back they hometown for the spring festival . then during June we suffered the big earthquke which never happened over 100 years in MY hometown .I always think my howtown is a happy and peaceful place than anyplace in my country. just in one second , looking at my friends and classmates around me who r suffring the disater, we dont know how to and what to do , some of them lost them family and she is the oly one left.some lost thier house , that means when they back their town afrer we finish the last exams in this semester , they will have no place to live.that;s the reality which we have to face . those days, we sleeped in our uni's playground we can do nothing but waiting, hopeless and darkness. now , I 'm in my hime and try to do something to help my people , especially the students who lost thieir school and cant not go on the study. anyway the life goes on , my friends and I will try our best to rebuid my hometown .u know it seems we r (the young generation like my friends and me)growing up at one night .suddenly we know how to respect life and understand our responsibilily. u know , if face of the disaster of the nature, we can do nothing about it . but at least we can show our greatest love to each other,to help others , let everyone under the unfortunete thing s know they r not alone. no matter it's climate change or any coincidence , we still have the courage to coquter them. it's our belif.and we have faith in it.

In my place we only have two seasons hot and wet seasons. Last year the cold weather days started rather late and ended quite soon, then summer came. The summer was hotter than the usual summer then ended very abruptly last May. It even rain earlier than expected then around this month the weather returned to something like a summer temperature and the raining stopped. if find it rather erratice where I am expecting this months to be rainy but it seldom rains and is very humid.

Or is it the lack of sun spots? Of course, those lack of sun spots is all because of Global Warming you know.

Weather has been crazy! I live on the east coast in North Carolina and it has hit record highs for the summer. For one week, the highs were 100 degrees to 105 degrees. I'm not sure what is going on in this world, but it's crazy. The air conditioner in the house doesn't even work as well because it's so hot outside. I used to sleep with the window open but it's too hot to do that now. Rain has completely stopped. I don't think it has rained in the last month. I guess the heat is making it hard for me to remember.
