What do you think of John Kerry? I think he might just be the biggest idiot around. I don't know how he ever got to where he is at. His recent comments about the military have outraged me. I have friends and family in the military now and ain't none of them stupid or uneducated. I think he might have actually been trying to go after President Bush, which I don't have a problem with, I can't stand either one right now.

This isn't the 1st time he made stupid comments. To think I almost voted for him. I didn't vote because I didn't like him or Bush.

Kerry is a stupid person. If you want to be a leader shouldn't you know what you are talking about, and if you misspeak or make a mistake, shouldn't you immediatly try to fix it. Your husband is a good American and should be commended for serving his country.

I don't like John Kerry. I agree with you when you said he just might be the biggest idiot around. His latest comments sure help to prove that point. I don't think he thinks before he speaks. Why would he say such a thing about people in the military? I just don't get it.

That is part of the problem I have with politicians in general. They have someone write their speeches for them and I am not sure they actually look at them before they start speaking. If it were me and I was in the worldwide spotlight you better believe I would know what I am going to say.

I think Kerry is one of the biggest morons on the face of the earth. He needs to just give up politics and get a real job.

Unfortunatly I don't think he would know how to get a real job. He doesn't seem to have a clue about anything.

Ok, so I am not fond of him. I can't really explain why, except he makes my skin crawl.

Okay I want to make sure to stay on your good side. I wouldn't want to be the cause of crawling skin.

That's pretty harsh. I don't like him either but I can't say he makes my skin crawl.

In American politics, it seems that power and soundbytes come way before the good of the country. It's a fact that makes me incredibly sad. All either party cares about it how to make the other look bad: us versus them, it doesn't matter what side you're on, or what is right and what is wrong.

Soundbytes are definatly the most important things in "ugly" American politics today. That is why I think we need a leader that is unknown, comes out of nowhere, and identifies with no major political party. We need to knock down the major parties a peg or two. Only if the voters rally for a small party or non-party candidate could we possibly do that.

I don't know much about European politics. I think that America needs a greater divide between parties though.

you really think it's like that just in the U.S. I mean if you look at european politics there is a far greater divide on ideology there than there is in the U.S. Here the dems and the republicans well there really isn't that much difference between the two. Not compared to other parties in other countries. The media totally exaggerates it always talking about this great divide when really it's only a tiny gap.

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions.

They certainly are entitled to their opinions. Which in turn entitles anyone to have an opinion on the statement of their opinion. If you want to put yourself in a national spotlighht and make a fool of yourself, then go right ahead, just be ready for everyone else to tell you that you are a fool.

I guess that is definatly one of those situations where you have to choose the lesser of the evils. I agree that I like him better than Bush.

If you would listen to the whole piece of audio, it is very clear that he is calling bush stupid, and not the troops. His remark about getting stuck in Iraq only sounds like it insults the troops if you isolate it from the rest, which is what the media has done. He has no reason to insult the troops, especially since he was once one of them. Also, stupid people can't be in the military because to do what soldiers do requires education and discipline, something bush doesn't have. I hate bush, and i don't really like Kerry, but when everyone jumping on the bandwagon to shoot him down, it pisses me off because they are doing it because they just didn't listen carefully enough. Go to the link below and you will change your minds about thinking Kerry is an idiot, and if you don't, then you are an idiot for not paying attention to detail. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKlKFsn0f9w

I have no problem with him calling Bush an idiot, in fact I do it on a daily basis. I don't like many politicians in general. Anyone can put on a nice suit, stand up in front of a group of people, and tell them what they think they want to hear. I simply think that if your going to put yourself on a worldwide pedestal you need to be very careful what you say. If you make a mistake you need to admit it and fix it immediatly.

actually I did watch it. I usually do my research and don't just jump on "band wagons" and no it wasn't clear what he was saying. And considering bush got BETTER grades then him he shouldn't be talking about bush's education either.

Somehow I dont hear the same things that democrats say as Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. I heard what he said and none of it made sense to me. I am military supporter and retired navy but I dont agree with the points that The Gop supports right now. I also believe that hatred is what is ruining our leadership. I am a Republican but I think I am a fiscally conservative common sense thinking one who thinks these outrageous attacks on personal liberties are getting way out of hand. Never in our history have our personal rights been under attack so vigorously as under this administration.

I agree that the spin that is put on any politicians comments by the oppossing political party is definatly destroyiing American government. I think that party politics is paramount in destroying everything that this countries government is built on. This administration is definatly attacking our personnal rights. I wish a good third party candidate would come out, I think we need to get away from party politics for a while and try to rebuild our government.

Personally I feel that it wasn't a mistake he knew exactly what he said and he ment it. Only because of the backlash is he changing his story now about meaning to insult Bush. I think he really does have no regard for soldiers ecspecially ones who make a career out of it. It doesn't really suprise me at all.

It doesn't surprise me much at all. It isn't the first time he has made comments on our troops, that goes all the way back to Vietnam, even though he was a veteran also. What does that say about him?

I am so angry. I voted for Kerry at the last election. I don't like Bush. I didn't think Kerry was great, but I liked him better than Bush. Now I don't know what to think. Except that we need two brand new candidates! When he made that comment about the military... Ahhh I could just scream!! I'm going to marry my Marine here soon.. ... how could he say that!!!

We don't need new candidates, we need a new type of candidate. Congratulations on marrying soon. I bet your fiancee didn't join the service just because he was stupid or had no future in the real world.

First of all, Bush is not uneducated, he has the best education money can buy. I don't think he is the most intelligent person that is for sure. He truely is stuck in Iraq, simply because he went into Iraq just out of pride and to avenge his fathers blunder. If you are going to start a fight you need to have a plan of how to finish.
