I'm laughing at this because that's exactly what is on my mind lately also!! I'm due to give birth to my first child in 2 weeks and am 1) dying to get a good work out in once I'm cleared for it and 2) wondering how long it will be before I can fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans lol. Are you pregnant or have you just had a baby?

with my first son it took me about a month to get back to my normal size because i exercised everyday, but with the new baby its harder because he wants so mch attention , he's so spoiled the only time he isnt crying is if i am holding him.

My second daughter was born on Feb 15th ,so it is already 5 th month running now .. I am doing some workouts and I lost almost 4 kgs of weight , I think it will take atleast 6 months to loose weight after giving the birth to a child but what ever you are doing you should be determined and do that perfectly.

It took me three weeks to get back to normal after first child, and I walked out of the hospital in my regular jeans after my second. HOW? you may ask? I was extremely active during both pregnancies. I kept fit, didn't over eat, didn't sit on my butt. I rode horses up until a month before the birth of my first child, and waited tables until two weeks before each child. It's not so much the exercise you do after you have the kids as it is important to stay active and fit during your pregnancy.

My baby is 2 months old. I wouldnt say I have my old body back but I lost all the weight in about a week. I didnt gain much only 14 pounds and my baby was 8lbs 8oz. I had some muscle seperation but its finally getting back to normal too. I wouldnt worry about it too much. That is all I thought about when I was pregnant. After I had her it wasnt such a big deal anymore.

Still waiting! I should be exercising on my stationary bike, but I'm not. I will have to get back into that. Plus I am dieting so that might work. Can't be sure. Be well.

My baby is going to turn 1 in a few weeks and I am still trying desperately to get my body back, lol. Its hard work sometimes and it just depends on your metabolism.Sometimes you never will get back to exactly how you looked before you got pregnant because often your body will take on a different shape, lol.Good luck guys!

With my first child it didn't take me any time at all to get back to my size. after my second which was a couple years after my first, it took me about two months. six years after my second I had my third, he is now two and a half and I just got my body back. they say the more kids you have and the older you get the harder it is to get your body back.

Well let's see, I have two sons, almost 27 and 24. I think I've resigned myself to the fact that it ain't happening.

Hello there.. i had my 4th baby 8 months ago, it took me about 6 months to get back to my pre baby weight this time, i didnt do any special diet or excersize plan though, just b/f her and ate quite sensibly, i didnt want to try and lose the weight too fast because i know it would just pile back on again, now that Lily is crawling im on my toes constantly and that is keeping me fit...lol.. good luck..xx

I just had my baby in May and I still don't have my body back yet...but it's too early though. I'm slowly getting there. I was told that it can take at the least 6 months to a year.

The one benefit to throwing up for nine months straight - all the weight you gain is baby related. In all three of my pregnancies I left the hospital in pre-pregnancy jeans. Now, I really need to lose the extra weight that I've carried for the last eight years. Chasing kids is great for that!

I have had three children and with all mine it was within a month. I guess I am lucky or it's good genetics. It could have been the hours of chasing toddlers around. My first two were close in age. I would take the baby for walks to lose the extra pounds.
