I would tell them i have no money. I say i'm just a high school student and i have no money to afford those stuffs. Or i would tell them i have jobs to do and then cut the line at once. You have to cut the line at once after u said" I'm sorry, i have hundreds of work to do!" Don't wait his response, cut the phone at once.

Thanks for the response!! Thats the nice and very smart way to stop the conversation. I think unless you cut the phone they will not stop.

Hi Friend, I also faced this problem regularly. I used to get some blank calls or these rubbish credit/offer calls. They were shameless, they were not leaving me even though I told them that I'am not interested. The beautiful question they used to ask me is "Why you are not interested ?" . I cant imagine myself how rage I would have felt during that days. Let me tell you some tips to avoid them. 1. Note that they would have stored your contact number in their directory. Hence frequently they call you. When they call you, greet them sweetly and introduce yourself as a village resident. Tell them that you live in a remote village doing some agriculture/shopkeeper job. or Speak in a language which they don't understand. Immediatly they shall cut your call themself and also delete your entry from their list. This trick has worked well for me. 2. Register in "Donot disturb me" services if your operator provides it. 3. If they offer some credit card, tell them that you have that card already. This is end the conversation gracefully. Enjoy peaceful connectivity.

Thanks for the response!! I think you also have faced this problems. i could remember when i was in IBM as a project trainees and i got a call for personal loan.i said i am very much interested in personal loan she asked what is your salary i told 200$ per month then she told whats your age ? i was surprised how can she ask my age i told i am 24 yrs old then i asked may i know your age ? then she was getting irritated and wanted to keep the phone. she told we can't give you loan sir. then i started asking why you can't give loan.. you will have to give loan. finally she only cut the phone!! Usually i don't entertain them but if am free and bored sometime then i act like that so they will get irritated.

I usually just hang up... If I'm bored, I tell them after they go through their entire sales pitch, then say, "I have a hard of hearing, did you say something? Could you repeat what you said from the beginning?" Or answer the phone, put it on mute, put the phone down, & just walk away...
