i wonder how many likes to read books here specially novels and what are your preferences when picking a book. Do you go for a certain author or a certain type of book. I, in particular likes adventure and mystery/action book, i prefer reading them instead of mushy love stories. i like Dan Brown novels since the are pure adventure/action and the character really moves me. I love its plot and i really enjoyed the book. i will never get tired of reading these kind of books and i will definitely wait for the other Dan Brown sequel. Just hope it will be soon. How about you dear mylot friends?

I like reading both nonfiction books and novels although I prefer reading fiction for leisure. While I'm not a big fan of Dan Brown, I do like mysteries as well, but I also read fantasy and historical fiction. I'm willing to read others as well if they are well written, and the story is interesting.

I don't have a particular genre or author. I can read anything and mostly it's what I feel like reading at the time. I can go from Stephanie Meyer to Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I've read all of Dan Brown's, some Banana Yashimoto. And I do go chick-lit(ing) sometimes too, for days when I just want to be entertained. I do like the variety because it can get tiring at times....to be reading books with the same tone.

honestly, when I was still unhooked with the internet, I love reading books, I read a lot of them, so sad that now with all the things you can do online and with all those games that you can carry everyday like PSP's, my reading time has declined and declined. I wish to go back to reading a book. hopefully soon.

I read fiction books in light romance, fantasy, science fiction (not so much in recent years), paranormal romance, and mystery. I really like the D1ck Francis mysteries, at least the older ones he wrote with his wife Mary. Because I reread many of this, I have them in hardback. The ones he writes now with his son don't really appeal to me.

Initially I used to read books with stories of adventure, mystery etc. But now I am mostly interested in spiritual books. I never liked reading love stories...don't know why. When I was a child, I love reading fairy tales and books by Franklin Dixon.

Yes definitely mysteries are my first choiCE. I have read some books of dan brown. they are good too. There are other mystery writers too. Why dont you try ken follett and sidney sheldon. I like ken follett in particular. His novels are absolutely un put downable. But sometimes i read romantic novels too. They are also good in a way.
