Anyone watch tonight's season premiere of America's Got Talent? Did anyone stand out for you as being fabulous? I think they put the opera singer on last to end with a bang but I feel that 4 year old little girl was amazing. She had no clue what was going on with the crowd cheering like that. When I heard her sing my first thought was, "Oh no! They'll put her on Barney!" But then a movie commercial came on and I found I could hear her singing for Disney movies. Honestly, a 4 year old cannot put on a two hour show but that little girl was amazing. And I fell in love with the baton twirler. His story was touching and he was absolutely amazing. I cried a lot of tears tonight. I think the original cloggers were absolutely amazing. My husband is a step dancer so I know good clogging when I see it (they're pretty much the same). That group made it so new and exciting and who the heck cares what they were wearing? Honestly! I think the audience was pretty brutal. I couldn't understand how they knew to cheer or boo when the participant first walked on stage. Were they seeing the interview back stage that we saw? I think they were mean and disrespectful. So, what do you think? Anyone stand out for you? Was there anyone you thought got the shaft?

I watched the show and Neil is the big wow on the show. He is the person that I would go down to the store and buy the CD right now. The little girl was cute. I'm thrilled with the fiddlers, as the two young men really blew me away. Its nice to see young people fiddle and they have been playing a long time. The baton twirler really made it look so easy. He could be around awhile. I enjoyed the performance.

Oh yes, I forgot about the fiddlers. They were fantastic! So was that hilarious trombone player.

I thought it was very good. Little Kaitlin was so sweet and the last guy who sang opera brought tears to my eyes.

The little girl was so cute. She wont win but how could you say no to her. I also likes the cloggers they are my favorite. Now I cant beleive the twins made it. They should get into dominatrix(sp) instead of singing.

Yeah, the twins were odd. I think if they dressed better, didn't start on such a low key, and did a little more synchronized dancing they would shine. They were just lacking in something but I think they have potential. They need a lot of work.

I only caught the end and I have to say the opera singer was truly amazing and very talented. I hate that this show is on at the same time as Hell's Kitchen. Rats...can't watch them both at the same time. lol

I didn't watch this show. I watched the humor shows on CBC last night... The Rick Mercer Report, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and a Ron James special. As for the audience booing or applauding, the show producers tell them what to do. Even in the days of Ted Mack the results were manufactured.

I wonder about that... the judges were trying to get the audience to stop. On a side note I thought it really disappointing to see the three judges take three separate limos to the airport. Not very green, are they?

It's all for spectacle... but then, if they all crammed into one Smart Car, that would be something to see, too, don't you think?

I only caught the last few minutes of it. I thought that the guy singing opera at the end of the show was really good. He grew up about and hour from where I live.
