the hardest course for me!

I just found this discussion so I apologize for the delay. No you are not stupid! I-Ching is very difficult and I don't profess to understand much about it. I've never really studied it, just read a bit about it. Most of the problem occurs, IMO, because China was isolated for so long their language, culture and even the way they think evolved very differently than western cultures. Translating the I-Ching into western languages was going to be severely lacking no matter how accurate they tried to be because some cultural thoughts cannot be properly translated to accurately convey the thought or feeling behind it. For example the Tao. The general idea can be translated but it is lacking in the true meaning behind the thought process that created the original idea. You have to REALLY stretch your thought processes in a way not "the norm" for westerners to grasp it's true concept. Here is the website I used when I first started reading about it.
