Changing the past

Sometimes, when i think of the things that happened in my past, I recall a lot of the bad memories and things I regret doing or things I hope didn't happen. And whenever I remember those bad moments, I start imagining going back to the past and correcting those errors of my life. And I imagine feeling perfectly happy with the outcome. But, as I try to think it over, I realize that I would have not become a stronger person, smarter, confident, better person than before - the man who I am today if I hadn't experienced those bad, embarrassing moments of my past. And if I were given a chance to change anything in my past, I would certainly not change anything at all. If you were given the chance to change your past, would you do it? and why?

I don't think that I would even dare. Just like what you have said, we wouldn't be what we are today if it weren't for those experiences. I believe that those things were really bound to happen. We learn things the hard way and even though we regret some of the things that happened to us, we are still thankful for the experience. I believe that if we change our past, it will ultimately have a profound effect on our present and future.
