Well first of all if you expect to become rich you can throw that idea out the window now. You will make a reasonable amount here on Mylot. It's a cool place to get feelings off your chest too. But beware of the ignorant. And the best and fastest way to earn money is by not thinking about it.

I do not earn much in mylot but I have some suggestions for you. 1. You should response to the topic you are interested in as much as possible. 2. Do discussion with quality post which means providing useful information or submit descriptive words and sentence as much as possible. 3. Start the interesting topic. 4. Do not violate the term of service. 5. Refer a friend to join mylot as your referrals

Trying to make money on MyLot is really not a good idea. Sure you can work hard and make some money. The guy that the previous person sent you to made $10 in 10 days...which is good for MyLot, but he worked on making that five hours a day which is fifty hours for $10. In some countries it would cost the user more then $10 for 50 hours of internet use. If you are looking to make a lot of money on MyLot you will be disappointed. Money making tips are definitely post a lot to discussions, write new and unique discussions of your own, and make sure your posts are quality posts. Go for several lines and not just a quick "Thanks". Plus, you don't make more money by replying to everyone if your posts are quality posts. Much better to aim for quality and quantity and not just tons of worthless posts. Good Luck.
