Do you answer a call in the middle of the night?

It is good to answer you phone in the nights whenever time it rings. You never know who is on the other side. It was the wee hours of the morning when I receive the sad news that my mother past away. So you see it is good to answer but it is sad when it is bad news.

When I'm sleep I keep my cell phone at a low volume. So most of the time I don't hear it. If I do I check to see who it is and answer it if I want to talk. The house phone in my room is silent since my mom get those 3 a.m. phone calls from my aunt. I don't get a lot of night calls though!

Well if its in the middle of the night i certainly will answer it becuase I KNOW it'll be important..the only time I DON'T answer the phone in the middle of the night is on New Years Eve casue everyone and their mother tries to call me LOL I actually unplug the phone for that night But any other time yes I do....Ppl who know me and have my number KNOW BETTER than to call me in the middle of the night just cause they're bored so liek I said, if I get a call, its for a darn good reason.

Since my phone has a caller ID, I would check out the caller and if it is one of family, then I normally would answer the phone but if the number is unfamiliar, then I usually reject the call.

It depends... Sometimes I answer it but sometimes don't.. If I am really sleepy I don't care whether who calls.. I just don't mind it but when I feel irritated that is the time I'll answer it or I just turned off my phones...

i use to put my phone next to my pillow when i sleep so that i can know if there's somebody calling me.its actually depends on my mood when it comes to picking up calls.if i feel like really lazy and got no mood then i wont.usually i do pick up them as i think that they might have something important or emergency to tell.

Hi betsie, I always hesitate to answer at late night. At i may or may not wake i dont really want to answer. If it is the call from my home, surely i will answer. Sometimes i switch my phone to silent mode. Thanks.

if its in the middleof the night I let the answering machine take a message unless I am expecting an important late call. otherwise I do not wake and rush to answer some wrong 'number.

I have my cell phone on 24/7. This phone never gets shut off. Only time it is shut off is when I am at my other home in the country. As I don't have cell reception there. I have no point in having the phone on. I answer my phone all hours. I don't mind at all if it is 3, 4, 5 or 6 in the morning. Everyone knows that my phone is on for all reasons. If they need a ride home cause they drank too much I will go and get them. If they just need a friend to talk to. I am there as well.

Yes I get up with the slightest of rings and answer the phone. I always feaer that something might have happened to my family. I live away from my family.

I have a phone right on the back of my bed. I normally check the caller ID to see who is calling before I answer the phone, but if it rings when I am sleeping, I pick it up automatically like it is an alarm clock, without thinking, just to make it shut up! I hate that.

If the phone rings in the middle of the night,since me and my fiance usually do not go to bed until five am or later,we always hear it,but whether I answer it depends on who it is,if it is one of my friends,or family members I will answer it,because I never know when it is going to be an emergency.

If my phone rings at night I am quicker to answer than during the day. Nobody calls me at night so when it rings I figure it is important. I don't like those nighttime calls for just that reason. Nobody calls late at night with good news.

I am worried who it is. I get a lot of calls at the middle of the night because me and my friends don't go to sleep until 4 o clock so we just talk on the phone. And so I do pick up the phone in the middle of the night.

it depends who is caller? if i recognize the number, ya i pick up , maybe it`s emergency call.
