Are monthsaries very common and celebrated by most couples? What do you think is significant about celebrating monthsaries? Do you personally like the idea of having one?

Hi. myahw20. Yes, many people celebrate anniversaries together in our country. I think the meaning is to celebrate the marriage bliss of being together after all of the years they have been together. I do love celebrating anniversaries with my husband. I think that it is fun and exciting.

my husband and i never did "monthsaries". it was just easier to only celebrate yearly. between the two of us we have a lot of family and birthdays every month of the year except april. so adding yet another thing to worry about and buy a gift for just didnt make sense to us. plus in my opinion making it a year is more of an accomplishment.

Yes I think. The significant of celebrating monthsaries? Isn't it amazing, sweet and heart pounding when you know that your other half or your partner remember the special date in your life and choose to greet you every month until you reach a year. Well, a two heart very much excited in counting how many days they have been together. Wanting to mark important dates in a relationship... weeks, months, years and a lot more. Some even marked the exact time when the woman gave her yes to the man. I dont see anything wrong with celebrating monthsary. And yes, i am one of those who celebrate monthsaries.

Hi there Myahw! I think it's more common to younger and new couples. We used to celebrate this too when we weren't married yet. I guess we even did at the first couple of years of our marriage. When we had a child, we celebrate anniversaries and not monthsaries.

Me and my boyfriend is actually celebrating that every month for two and a half years already. Well, we used to have dinner or lunch or just a simple date.

well I think it's because some relationships today don't last by years anymore... most end by months or even by weeks... so people try to measure it by months now... well I do celebrate monthsaries... I even have some with my friends... like one of my group of friends we have an anniversary date... and we do celebrate it every months too... but I think everyday with your loved one is special... so the best gifts shouldn't only come when it's your monthsary or anniversary...
