not sure whether u know that there r some fake beggars, they appear to be beggars with dirts on face and with worn clothes on the body, but they are strong and have the ability to earn their living by true work, but not just asking for others' dollars. they live on begging. they'r not disabled people, not chidlren, but healthy and strong men. i don't like people like them relying on begging for a life.

I rarely give to beggars. I will base it on the saying: by teaching how people to survive, we don't give them a fish everyday, we teach them how to fish. With that, I rarely give, it really depends. But I do offer a simple prayer for them.

No I offer them things that will help their situations such as a job. That is what I meant by teaching them to fish. The prayer is a spiritual offering. I have offered them a physical and a spiritual matter.

I don't give any money if I am near an area I'll buy em a meal. I've heard of these people that fake as beggers if you don't give them money and offer food instead they get mad. Is why I only offer a warm filling meal.

When i was a child my mum gave me money every so often whenever we were about to pass someone 'on the streets'. Often enough it was a sign i put it in, so i did. However my dad once told me that one of his friends earned his money by 'faking' on the streets. Giving money depends on the type of person you are. Some people trust these 'street people' whilst others dont. Some just have some spare money they dont need, whilst others... dont. Just because some are fake it doesnt mean you should be put off giving money to them, its the real ones that count.

u'r right, but from what can we tell they are real beggars or not? i often saw beggars without a leg or an arm, but after a day's begging, they went home with their lost leg or arm back. like a magic show.
