We use to say 'I brought home so and so after taxes' now we say....

I brought home so and so after I filled up my gas tank. I never thought I'd live to see the day when filling up a gas tank would be more than the weekly taxes that comes out of a regular paycheck... Something has to give people.

I didn't either, but if things don't change it is going to get worse, a lot worse!

Did you ever think you would actually live to see this happening? Prices rocketing upward over night? I didn't, I really didn't.

No i surely did not. I remember when my Daddy fussed about gas prices being out of hand , it was 1.50 a gallon! Boy he would be screaming if he was here to see these prices.LOL
