I have two boys ages 1 and 3. They both have sleep buddies. My eldest will not sleep without his nemo plush/pillow and my youngest will not sleep without his 2 favorite pillows. I observed that they not only hug it but even bite thr pillows. For what reason, I don't know. When I wash their pillows I have to make sure it dries up before they go to sleep or it'll be hell for me. Does your child have a favorite stuff that he/ she cannot sleep without?

Yes, that's a funning topic. i couldn't sleep without my special sheet which is quite fluffy and soft when i was a child. That's a good memory, and it usually bring me wonderfur memory back when i see that special sheet which has been collected. Of cause, you should keep your son's favorite usually clean. that's all, never mind.

Yeah I have to keep it clean all the time. They sometimes drag it everywhere they go and I usually go after them and return it to their beds.

A puppy blanket. Also, right now he won't go to sleep without one of us in the room. That is getting old really quickly.

My 3 year old does that too. My husband works at night so my son would ask me if he can sleep in our room. But he does it regularly now. Sometimes he would deliberately turn the television off just to force me to go to sleep.

My nephew is 2.5 years old and for as long as I can remember whenever he is tired and getting ready to sleep, he asks fo rhis "B" - his blanky... He puts it in his mouth and just either sucks on it or bites it and ususally falls asleep with it in his mouth. I've never seen that before, and my niece who is the oldest and other nephew who is the youngest of the 3, never did that.

My kids suck on the edges of their pillows too. I have to pull out the pillows from their mouth when they're already asleep. I also have to make sure that the pillows are always clean. I think its their substitute for thumb sucking because I never saw them suck their fingers..
