I swim for about an hour every day. That's a lot of time to think. I'm not that fast so I have time to enjoy my excersise and think about lots of things. I think about my family and friends, what I'm going to do that day, what I did the day before, about a book that I'm reading. Sometimes I just sing a complete song. I just repeat it in my mind lots of times. What do you think of when you're swimming?

I miss swimming! Since having my little girl I haven't found the time to go, I used to love it before. I found it a very relaxing passtime and I don't remember thinking of anything in particular, and maybe that's why it was so relaxing. I think I just thought about what I was doing with my arms and my legs, and my breathing, and the swimming itself. I guess it's like a form of meditation, where I turned my mind off from thinking about anything else. Soon, I'll hopefully make an effort to start going again at the weekends.

I don't usually think about much. I like swimming after things like rings as motivation, but that's about it. Occasionally I will sort of hum a tune as I'm swimming if I'm underwater so that no one will hear anyway.

How lucky that you get this opportunity to get your mind and body into shape. If I had the chance to swim think I my thoughts would include praise for the great effort of swimming for so long!

I think of neat the water feels how relaxing it is. I think of having fun in the sun. But most importantly the freedom you have underwater like nothing is holding you back.
