Today I'm a walking charity patron, LOL!

After dropping my mail in the Post Office I dropped by Break Charity just next door. I found a nice piece of shoulder bag for 50p. As I walked back home I realized everything I got is from charity shops. My pyjama was from Oxam, my jacket, wallet and new shoulder bag was from the same Break Charity Shop. I told myself that as long as I am unemployed I will only buy clothes from charity shops. I can't wait for my visa to get renewed so I can apply for a job right away. I hate being jobless.

there is nothing wrong with getting something from a charity shop, why go out and spend $40 on a pair of pants that you may find at the shop for $1,with the way prices are going up on a daily basis and not the pay. thank your lucky stars that you found something that you could use that did no cost alot of money. money that could be used wisely else where such as groceries, personal needs, pay the light bill or the rent. the list goes on and on but hopefully you get the picture of what i am saying about it all.

Yes, Brenda I get it all the way. I am a very practical person and I found charity shops really useful and a great place to go shopping. I know how hard it is getting lately. When the petrol goes up everything follows except my height.

So youre not working now, thats why you have all the time to do mylotting. In due time youll have the work you need and like. Never mind buying from charity shop as long as you need it and can use it. Dont buy things that you dont need. Its a waste of money.

Thank you for the advice. I don't buy stuff that I don't really need. The only clothing I had to by when I got here in England are the winter clothes. Yes, I have enough time to spend online but I want it to be productive so I always come to mylot.

I had been in that situation where I was not worrying about the future. I work, get paid and spend my money. So now I am smarter, I guess. I hope.

You're right, charity shops are really great place to shop because you find almost everything you need in one small space. It's nice to know your buying stuff to support someone else.

Oh, thrift stores are a nice place to buy some food or snack. I like buying chocolates from 99p store. I bought a big bag of M&M for only 99p and I was very excited. Thanks, I hope I'd get the visa soon.
