I was busy for the whole day and even yesterday for preparing for my mom's 55th year Birthday!!! I do not know what to give that will best show how much I LOVE HER and TREASURE HER?! I usually buy a birthday cake every year but now, I bought a "BUKO PIE" A pie made from coconuts locally available in my country and what makes it more special is that... I gave it to her with sincere love and affection and to top it all... I DID PRAY TO GOD that she will be guided and be blessed every single day of her life. I asked God to give her happiness and peace with us her family, and continue to strengthen her faith so that whatever happens in our lives, whatever difficulties we will be facing, WE WILL REMAIN WHOLE AND HAPPY SERVING HIM! God bless my mom who I LOVE MORE THAN MYSELF!!! and THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING A WONDERFUL MOTHER TO ME AND TO MY SISTER!!!

hello there my friend! Happy birthday to your mom! Send my regards. anything that comes from the heart would make a perfect gift. I think personalized gifts are really good too. On one of my mom's past birthdays I composed a song for her. I made her cry. Wah. Hehe. But I felt that I was able to express my love for her, so did my sister, she sang it with me. I'm happy to hear that you love your mom and your sister! Actually all that's left of my family now is me, my mom and my sister. So I also cherish them so much like you do. God bless you my friend. ME AND MY MOM LOVE all of your greetings here. And thanks also for giving me a very good suggestion of making my mom a song... I hope I can do that next year. I am so happy finding a very nice and sincere friend here no less than YOU! God bless you, your sister and most of all your mom. That is so nice of you to do. I wish my children did that for me, but maybe when they are older they will. Your mother is so lucky to have you as a son. You being her son is probably the best present you can give her.

My love and prayers goes not just to my mom alone but as well as to all moms out there... BECAUSE WITHOUT THEM.. WE WILL NOT BE HERE AS WELL!!! Let us love our mom with all our hearts because we can't surpass what she did just to raise us like what we are today.

Hi, Jhordie! That truly is a wonderful tribute to your mum! I guess we all love our mum very much, but not many are ready to voice it out due to embarassment. I guess presents don't really matter to our mums; all they want from us is our time spent with them and the effort we put into celebrating their birthday together with them. Just get her a gift that you think will touch her heart, even if it's cheap or hand-made it doesn't matter, because it's the thought that counts. I'm sure God will answer your prayers and grant your mum all that you prayed for, because she truly has sacrificed a lot for you (I can tell! 
) and you've made an unselfish prayer for your mum. Well, I hope that you continue to cherish you mum while she's around....and do continue to honour her and spend time with her, for that's our calling as children!

Yeah, I thought in the midst of my busyness it was still courtesy to at least reply to one of your discussions, because I know you've been missing my replies and perhaps even missing me! 
It's good to know that you recognize me so easily now; I feel as if I'm being stalked by someone! Anyway, do continue to be close to your mum and spend time with her because I am now overseas studying and my mum is far away from me and I miss her dearly. And recently she had a lung infection and I couldn't be by her side to comfort her and just be close to her. Now she's much better, so thank God!
PS: By the way, how's work as a nurse? Having a good time dealing with the patients?

I will be studyig again to earn some units in Education, then masters of Nursing for me to be able to teach in some Universities here. I will be living far away from them for the whole semester. Now, both of us are in the same situation. I will surely miss my mom most of all. I resigned from my recent work to pursue another type of profession which is teaching.

Happy Birthday to your Mom! I am really glad that there are persons like you who don't forget special dates such as these. That goes to show that you are a loving and caring person. Your parents are blessed to have you as a child. One who knows how to return the love their parents had given. I also always make it a point to be at my parents birthday celebrations whether I have a gift or not. What is important is your presence and that you remembered. I envy you at this point. I migrated so this year I missed celebrating my Dad and Moms birthday with them. I had to be contented by just giving them a phone call to be able to greet them.
