Germany vs Turkey - Semi Finals

Well, the semi finals of UEFA Euro 2008 are getting closer. After beating Croatia in penalties Turkey is now the semifinalist to play againist Germany.
What do you think of the chances of these two teams? what are your thoughts?
I don't know much about the German squad but more than half of Turkey squad is now suspended or injured. I just don't know how they will find 18 uninjured players...

as a german fan i am pleased we beat portugal ..next up turkey who have refused to give up .if we dont play with the same fire we played against portugal i believe turkey can beat us

I was seeing portugal as a very strong team in the competition and I think beating portugal is more than you think. Germany has done a very important job so far and have more experienced players in the tournament.
If you take a look at the team statistics Germany is more familiar to this kind of competitions. They are more self-disciplined... It is for sure the semi final match will be a great one but I just can't make a guess but only hope...

well, i hope germany win the game. i'm just worry about the other match, netherland vs russia. i love both team. they shouldn't meet so early.

so early? It has been semifinals and any later stage would be finals :)
And I hope my country (Turkey) to beat German team and then to win the finals... Although it is never easy you never know what would happen in football. This is why we should never forget the match still goes on until the last whistle is blown.

I have seen the Turkey and Croatia match yesterday night and it was awesome!!! miraculously Turkey beat the Croatian team in the last minute of the 2nd supplementary time. whew! who would ever thought Turkey will make a goal to score and made their scores 1-1. Sorry for Croatia they kicked wrongly making the score 4-2. Congrats to Turkey for making it to the Semi finals for the first time!

Turkey has done marvelous to reach this far in the competition but I think Germany will win this semi final match

I like Germany's chances. They have been solid. Granted, I'm a new fan. I have only been watching a bit. My daughter got me interested in the sport. She likes Germany too.

turkey defense is very subtle..and no questions about germanys defence..thats were i think turkey will lose out..
