When I have enough money to buy the wii system that I want, I would like to purchase either The sims or My sims. Has anyone played either of these games on this system?. I saw a short for the My Sims on youtube and it doesn't seem that bad, what about The Sims? I've played the sims on the computer before, but I wanted to know if it was a good game on the wii as well? Would it be worth my time? If you can also recommend any other games, or tell me how CSI for wii is, I'd appreciate it. Have a Great day.

Sorry, I haven't played any of those games on Wii. However, I can recommend to you Super Paper Mario. If you liked the first two Paper Marios, I think you'd like this one.

I have never played paper mario but I have played mario so I may enjoy it. That is actually one of the games that I have thought about getting. Could you tell me more about it?

Hmmm...well, it's less of an RPG than the first two Paper Marios. This one has more platforming elements. It does have RPG elements in that you level up when you reach a certain score. You get to have Peach, Bowser, Luigi and a lot of pixls in your party, those of which allow you to access new areas of the game. There's a lot to do in this game! Lots of things to collect and do. Check out this site: www.gamefaqs.com. It'll explain things a little better than I can.

Thanks for the link. I never thought about using gamefaq's for more information about it. My fiance uses the site all the time when he gets stuck on the game. From the way it sounds, I think I will enjoy the game. One of my fiance's brother's might even enjoy it, so I might need to be on the look out! Have a Great day.

I own Mysims on the wii. It's hardly anything like the real sims at all. You start off in a run down town, getting to know the citizens and collect essences (kind of like moods to build different types of buildings and colours) and then build new buildings for certain people such as a pizza place for a cheff. Then you will have to build all equipment he will need etc. It gets pretty repetitive after a couple of hours of play but it's a good pass time if you have nothing else to do or you just generally enjoy sims. Hope it helped.

Yes, I saw a video on youtube about it. I think it will most likely be one of those past time games but I wanted to make sure it was even worth buying. If I only play the game for an hour every once in awhile, it won't be worth it. Have a Great day and Welcome to Mylot.

My daugher just got Mysims for her Nintendo DS today and has been playing it for about 6 hours solid, loves it. Not sure how it will be on the Wii (we recently sold hours), but I'd imagine that the actual game is pretty similar on both formats. Why not try renting it from Blockbuster before buying?

Well I was actually thinking about renting it from a local movie store before actually buying it but I'm not sure. I think that the two are similar as the video on youtube I saw mentioned it being on DS too and he didn't say it was any different. Maybe proportional wise, but that's a given. Thanks for responding, I might just do it.
