i have sent hundreds of referral already and yet no one has signed up for mylot... i'm geting hopeless on the referral part of my lot.. i son't know.. it's really hard to refer people from our country.. they're so active on different social networking sites but it seems like no one likes to get paid on posting discussions.. in one site, it seems like they post discussions every minute yet when i invite them to join here, no one seems to budge... wah! i want active referrals!!!

This is not your problems.See i will tell you one basic principle of life "do your without having expectation from other" if you are getting in return something consider as bonus point. I also have sent many invitation but none of them joined then what i did is told them to join personally so they join but after joining also they are not active. People will accept only when they have same mind set.So what i will suggest is to target those person who will accept your invitation. Good luck!!

i guess your right.. it's just that most invitations i sent out was for friends... and since they're so active in diff sites that don't pay.. i thought they'll be enticed to participate somewere that does pay...

DON'T worry i am also one like you. I have no active referrals but i managed to get 8 friends under me. i hope they will be active one day. I have also sent many referral request from mylot. IT won't work . No one will join only by seeing the request. i got my referrals by personally inviting them. I told my friends from my college to join by telling the features of mylot. I think when you tell them the chance of joining is more, but to be active they should feel it from inside and no one can make them active. best of luck.

This is not an uncommon feature with mylot. Actually people want to go for easy money and mylot demands a good work for earning something. So they end up going for sites where there is easy money but which never comes to them. They fail to realize that here they would be paid for sure for the efforts they put in. I too began with promoting referrals but soon realised that they are all going inactive so i gave up. You need to be really lucky to get persons who would actively be a part of mylot.

I have been in the same boat. I have to tell you, not everyone ignore our invitation, but the worse situation I have experienced was that some of the people I invited, they did read my invitation, they did sign up, but when they signed up, they did it directly from the ROOT URL of myLot and not under my username. so I will have to say "you are lucky" for those who have honest people who did sign up under their invitation referral link and became their referrals. I have gotten payout based on my own activity in myLot. I never bother about having referrals any longer. As long as I can keep active in posting and get a lot of friends who are helping in giving good discussions here to respond to, I don't think I would put too much emotion in having no referral. I have zero referral until this moment. and yes, I have sent a lot of invitations back then, and nobody signed up under me. And I don't want such things adding more burden upon me that stop me to keep active in myLotting. at least, I still earn from my own activity and I still have offline job that can support my living.

I know, I posted a discussion about this the other day. Even though it is free to join, it is like pulling teeth to get people to join.

Try referring people on Forums and Chat rooms. You need to talk or chat with them in order to make them Believe you. They have to believe what you say. You should develop Interest in them in these things.

Hahaha...what good is having referrals when they aren't active or motivated. A year ago when I first joined mylot I recruited 24 referrals and only one was really active and she still makes me some money here but it is very little. It is reallt difficult to find quality versus quantity. Better to just invite one person who really needs this than 100 who don't.

yes, i get the same problem. i don't know why people are so difficult to join this nice site. how can we convince them that once we join mylot, we will immediately feel that the small money is just like a bonus, so much joy i get here (though if the payment system is removed, i don't know if i still be here ).

hi posham. well, you might want to show these potential referrlas of yours your proof of payment from mylot so they will know that mylot is a legitimate and paying site. that is what i'm going to do when i get my payout this july. also, its not enough that you just invite them, it is important that you explain to them how they can earn at mylot. you also must give them pointers so taht thye know that when they have questions or they need help, they can also go to you and expect assistance from you. hope these helps. cheers!

I have sent out 88 invitations to myLot and one person has accepted. Unfortunately, that person has not been active at all. It is frustrating, I must admit.

I am in that situation too. I have sent so many invitations but only 1 accepted it. I wish our friends will give some of their time in filling up the data required for them to become a member and be our referral here as well.

I am having the same problems...my friends had said that you don't make much money on here and you have to be online for along time typing for just alittle bit of money. So this is why it's so hard for me to get any referrals.

As a matter of fact, friends around me are busy with their work,if they are free, they think their english isn't so good, they choose a way playing games or chatting instead of posting english discussions here.I can read you, come on.We never give up!

hello! i joined myLot 2 years ago. during my first few months here, i tried sending emails to my friends around the globe about myLot (with my link), hoping that one day, they will be interested to join and become my referrals. sadly, after 2 years, just 18 of my friends signed up under me and noone's actually active since they are also busy with their lives. it's difficult to get referrals because not all is interested in discussion boards. anne

referring is really hard. I have yet to be successful in all the referring I've done. Not just here in Mylot but in some other that I've joined. Ack. :( I guess we just have to be active in discussions. :D

Hi to all! Thank you posham for your post of this question and all answers from myLot friends. I'm very new for MyLot (just join a couple of weeks)and very concerned how to get referrals but all of your answers give me a light. I think I should put down all worry about referrals. Just take it naturally, posting and making friends should be the best way to enjoy social network. Earning is just a bonus.

hi the same question rises to all the people here.actually the person to whom we are sending the invitation should activelly participate in the discussions like these social networking sites simply sending an invitation to all usefull people doesnot work out here.
