How did you spend your stimulus check?

If you got one, how much did you get? We got $1800 ( 2 adults, 3 kids) and we blew ours easily when we went to Hershey. We spent a lot on the hotel, park admission and eating out. I wish I had that money back!

We got 1800 and we used it to pay on my son's medical bills. I wish we could have done something fun like you but we have crappy health care and he has autism so the bills add up. Glad to hear you enjoyed yours!

I'm glad the money was able to help you with those medical bills.

We got $2100 (2 adults, 3 kids) and used most of it to reduce our debt, lol. I also needed new tires for the family van, which was $500 but badly needed. They were down to no tracks left (blush; just didn't have the money). Quite frankly, I could use another one of those checks right about now! I can't believe the prices at the store now. If the price didn't get up, the package size went down. Bought the kids some Cocoa Krispies (bad, I know, but it's a treat every so often). The old box was 17.5 oz, this one was only 16.5. The package also was minimally smaller, when I held them next to each other. Buyer beware!

Yes Jonesey, I agree. Everything costs more. We get a stimulus check but the gas prices will kill us this summer. It's all a wash, unfortunately.

We got a stimulus check. We got $1200 (2 adults married filing joint). Our kids are grown and moved out, except for the youngest and he's 20 years old. They only gave $$$ for children 17 and under living in the home. We put ours in savings for now. We plan to use part of it to finish remodeling the bathroom. The rest will stay in the savings account.

Actually, we didnt get as much as we thought we were going to so it jsut kind of got absorbed into the general pool of things that we have to pay. I bought an ipod recently, but most of htat was paid for through amazon gift certificates I had.

I just now got mine and where we're at we don't have our bank, so I don't know how I'm going to spend mine. We should have receieved it the first week they came out but something must have happened. Now I have the money and its just sitting there, oh well.

Thank your goverment for sending you your money, to invest in their inflated prices....which will do nothing to lower them Would you lower your prices, if you knew thousands of dollars was being given out to the people of America.....I don't think so...

Well we just got ours yesterday ($1,200) and it is already spent...in a VERY boring fashion! Dang...I wanted to save it for my son's wedding next month...however the original warranty is up on my husband's truck on the 14th so we sucked it up and bought an extended warranty (and go figure..it cost $1,200) Ugh! Such is life.

We used ours to catch up on bills that we had got behind on. We got 1500. It went fast but it got us back on track and now we are saving every month where as before we were behind a bit. So thank you government for something. LOL
