Ok, I'm not one of those who really go to the barber - not because I'm afraid, have no money, no time or all the normal reasons. Nope, I don't intend to keep very long hair either, nah, none of those reasons. I just plainly think that cutting hair is a waste of time, hahahaIf only my hair would stay that way after cutting it ( absolute growth control, haha )That's why I would cut my hair to the shortest & let it grow till it's the longest ( when it really bothers me ) then I'll go cut it again. I told that to one of the ladies that was cutting my hair once & she said if everyone was like me, the barber shops & saloons will have to shut down, hahaWhat about you guys? Or especially the gals who would really like to fashion their hair & all. How often do you people visit the barber's or salon? Do you go there to cut your hair, style it, dye it or just one shot do everything? HahaaDo share your experiences.

I use to go to the barbers and have the usual hair cut. That was during school days, elementary. When I started high school, I always have my mom cut my hair. My brother even bought her an electric shaver, similar to what those barbers use at their shops. Then later on, my brother bought her scissors that are identical to those salons. I never thought that scissors were that expensive.. I just get a hair cut, no styles or dye.. though, it has been over some years since my last hair cut.. my hair could already cover the top part of my back.. I could even cover my face with it

Well, you can let your wife get use to cutting your hair anytime by letting her do so. If she goes wrong, she can always shave everything off. You can always grow it back again anyway

Covering the top part of your back - that's too much for me already, haha'Coz by the time it's that long, the front part would be too long as well. Makes no sense for me to cut the front & just leave the back part, well at least that's for me, hahaCool, your mom cut your hair in the early stage. My wife just cut her own hair for the 1st time just a few days ago. Hope she gets better & can cut my hair soon, haha

I dont get my hair cut very often. I have long hair and dont really do anything special to it so its not needed to go to salon to much. I also dye my own hair at home the only thing i cant do is wax my eye brows so once and awhile I will go for that but thats like twice a year if even.

Waxing eye brows, that's new to me. Is it like plucking them / trimming that kinda thing? Can't blame me, I'm a guy, hahahaPlus my wife doesn't go for all these kinda fancy stuff. She even seldom puts on make up. The most is lipstick. She only wears makeup on certain occassions as I always tell her she looks just perfect without makeup & she's not the type of person who bothers to put it on anyway, hahaErm, why am I talking about makeup anyway? Hahhaha. Thanks for the reply, appreciate it

Yep it is just like plucking only easier as its in one swift pull and your almost done. they tweeze a few to get them perfect. It is painful but looks so much better when done.

I have that habit too mate. My barber would tease me 'I've got HIV' hair is vanishing. Three time in a year is the most visit I do with them and I don't need a dye for it yet though I'm tempted with a streak(is that still fashionable?). Nah, it will not look good on me for sure.)

HahaMy wife & I did talk about highlighting or dying streaks of our hair gold maybe, haha. But in the end we were just too plain lazy to do it. You go 3 times the most? HahahaI think I keep myself to 2 the most actually, hahahaI think we're from the same gang in terms of hair, hahaah
