everytime i play runescape i start lagging after 10 mins and find myself totally unable to play unless i give my comp a break. i tried ending unneccesary processes.but that doesnt help either. i have plenty of space on my harddrive. is there a way i can play runescape with using less memory or find any other way to stop runescape from lagging?

clear out all ur temp files and delete files u don't need. try run rs under the original java selection under low/high detail. uninstall large files u don't need and run virus scan.

Try turning off your firewall, Your computer might not be giving enough access for RuneScape to run properly. It's a huge game, and needs a lot of space.

Also you could try and download Ccleaner which can fix your registry(be sure to make backups =O) and it can also clean out your browsing history and all of the tenporary files that you don't really need.

also if you have a very low speed internet connection it will lag too, but when you have a fast internet then try not to download(yes even your antivirus updates can make it lagg) anything while playing...

That's a possibility, depending on which firewall he's using.
