When did you buy you first cell phone?how do you deal with you used phones?

I bought my first phone in around 2000 and since them have changed my phone four times. As regards the old phones are concerend since i maintain them well i have no problem in selling them off at a good price sometimes on a cash basis and once in even sold it where in i got payments in instalments. As far as i get a good price it does not matter. I am now planning to buy a smart phone soon.

The first cellphone I had was a Christmas gift to me by the mother of the child I was tutoring. The 3rd cellphone I had was the one I bought with the money from my backpay. I usually just give out the used ones to my sisters.
