In my opinion we don't need to look very far for a replacement because Nani showed some pretty good skills in about the same position as Ronaldo.

Yes, quite agree in some way. Nani, can be polished to be a star. I dont think he is much lack of skills compared to Ronaldo. But, what the different is on how they use what has been gifted to them. Nani have to be more passion to the game, build up strength as well as the confidence level to take on the opponent. Shooting skill must need to be sharpen, get more involvement into the games and some more other way to improve! Ronaldo is surely irreplaceable, but Nani can create his own identity to be remembered as Uniteds Great!

I totally agree Nani needs to be polished some more until he can reveal his true brilliance, but I have faith in the staff from Man Utd. They are great at doing just that. Ronaldo wasn't the best football player in the world either when he came to United.

In the words of the KING - Manchester United will be successful with or without ronaldo :) ! Am not looking for a mass purchase like you have mate . I am not saying that ronaldo won't go , but i just don't see that happening this year . Ofcourse i won't be cheering him like i used to till now . I would be as professional as he would be wearing the red shirt . But next year when he leaves , ah well . I won't hurry with things . We have a great team . Replacing giggsy would be tougher than replacing ronaldo . I mean any tall lanky striker like benzema or zlatan would give 30 goals per season with the squad we have and with the dynamic way by which they play . So am not all that bothered about ronaldo or lack of ronaldo tbh . Good day

Apart from the lists, Man Utd interested in adding Van Der Vart of Holland as well as Baastian of Germany into the squad. Agree with you, with our flowing football, it is easier for any tall lanky striker to produce goal. Just remember back on the combination of Ruud-Beckham. With the good delivery from Beck, Ruud scores more than 40 goals for one of his season in Man Utd. Yes, it is much harder to replace Giggsy. Until now, i do believe he is the best flanky of all time compared to Ronaldo and Beck as well. His style, passion and determination is unchallengable. One of the best moment of his skillfull dribble as far as i can remember was when he collected the lazy pass from Viera and dribbled pass 3 or 4 players before beating David Seaman in the Arsenal goal!!!
