This discussion had been going on for the past few months. With the advent of T20 form in cricket , the past players feel it will impact the technique of the younger players who are budding to make it big in the International stage. Whats your take on this

wicket down - leading to burn out
the ipl is gong to harm indian cricket in long term . the young players will no longer be able to play in long format of game, that is test cricket. moreover they will subjected to burn out. the cricketing life will be shortened for them . this version of cricket is very much demanding and to compete with others they have to give 100 percent and this make s them prone to injuries. the great player sachin is still not fit, yuvraj is having pain in knee. and worse is still to come. very soon most of them loose their wickets

Yes some players are really effected, all the players are being aggressive all the time what about bowlers then they too need some kind of respect. In 20-20 we have bowl out and now they are in a situation to take it out and replace with 1 over batting.Due to 20-20 patience is totally out and we cant expect player to stay in the crease for logger time..

T-20 is a quite different ball game. It is modified version of traditional circket. The classical gentleman's game we always talk about is TEST CRICKET. The basic reason for calling ti gewntlemens game is: 1. It required great skills and technique to stay on the wicket for longer periods of time. 2. It required great patience both for bowlers to constantly try hsi level best and wait till the wicket falls and for batsmen to wait for the loose delieveries to score runs 3. It required temperament to build the long innings. 4. It is always about respect. Respect the bowlers, dont go after every delievery, wait for loose ones. But if you will see, t-20 is different. you dotn have time to wait, build the innings and respect the bowlers. You always have to take the risks and slog for scoring runs quickly. So naturally it will effect young emerging players. They will always try to find new ways of scoring fast runs rather than playing skillfully. New shots will de developed like paddle sweep, reverse sweep, changign of grips etc. The young players will surely lose patience, temperament and eagerness to play bigger innings. The involvemnt of luck will be higher than skills. And if they are allowed to play a Test Match in Australian conditions, they will surely gonna fail. And with the success of IPL and T-20, in future we will be unable to see great classical players like Mohammad Yousuf, Rahul Dravid, Jack kallis, Shivnarine Chanderpaul who always played skillfully and on merit...
