What is the craziest dare you have accepted and completed?

In our lifetime we hear 'I dare you' countless times. What is a dare that you took? How crazy was it? For me, I guess the craziest dare I took was while in college. A group of us were in a shopping mall and I was dared to lay down in the middle of the mall and 'sizzle like a piece of frying bacon.' Yup, I did it. How crazy is that!?!

Hey, that's pretty good, Crazynurse! LOL! :) I once took a dare that nearly was the end of me... I love to rock climb, and my challenge was to climb a "small" 150 ft rock freestyle... Would have been OK, if a thunderstorm hadn't rolled in while I was trying to make my way down... Nearly got whacked by lightning (again) and/or drowned... Never again! LOL! :)

Hahaha, sizzling bacon, gee, I'd have given anything to see that lol. What fun! Lessee, one of the craziest things I did when I was young is that I was bet that I couldn't ride this stallion who everybody deemed 'loco.' Everybody said you'd have to be crazy to get on him, but I accepted the dare and said I'd only do it bareback. I did, and I won...and I didn't even get flipped off like everybody expected. I made 'friends' with him before I got on and took a little time. And I know it sounds nuts to the average person, but I truly believe in the old philosophy that with an animal like that, if you swap breath they're not as afraid and are more trusting of you. Another time I took a bet that I could jump into the bull pen hayrack from the second story of the bull barn. I survived that one too, and the bull never got upset (but my parents sure did lol) A few months after that, that bull had to be shot because it went crazy and tore down the barn, smashed a car in the driveway and went totally loco. To this day I still have nightmares about getting away from that bull! (And that's no bull lol) I never took a bet I didn't think I could really handle, but some of them were more dangerous than I realized at the time.

Wow...you were quite the daredevil weren't you!?! I do feel that an animal knows if we are afraid of them and if we are not.

Hehehe, yeah, I was a spunky little thing lol. Not sure, I was either brave in knowing my limits, or I was totally stupid, guess that's still up for debate. (If you asked my parents they would have said 'stupid!') I know that growing up on a farm I wasn't scared of animals at all. Even at this age, if the neighbors bull gets loose, I'm right out there chasing him back in the fence lol.

I'm glad I didn't see you as I might have thought you were having an epileptic fit and jammed something/anything in your mouth so you wouldn't bite your tongue.

I am one of the few people in this world who do not take not to dares or even do something when someone calls me a chicken.
