I just saw on TV some guy saying that we should ban all foreign music because it will make us less patroitic and more vulnerable to other countries. what do you think?

No I think this is wrong. Music is universal. A person can enjoy music from all areas. And from all walks of life. It can be used to bring people together. Not taken as a tool to drive the human race further apart. I think this person has a very narrow view.

What this person was concerned about, was people been affected by them. Like teenagers listening to violent music.

NO! I am a former Marine, and I listen to ALL kinds of music. It is a form of expression. As long as you are not listening to something about burning our flag, there's no problem in my eyes! Listen to what you want. Music makes everyone happy, no matter who sings it or where it's produced!

Well, I guess if a former Marine is not offended, I guess...but what about music that criticzes democracy? where do we draw the line for free speech?
