Do Your Words Make You Rich?

I have heard it said in a number of places (Ted Nicholas, Robert Kiyosaki) that it is the words that you know and use which can make you rich or poor. Do you agree? Have you found that knowing certain words can help you make extra money?

You can either hire yourself out as a "slave" that works for money, or you can find ways to make money your slave and put money to work for you. I'd like to find ways to put money to work for me. I would like to put together several projects that earn money for me on an ongoing basis (rather than me needing to work for money), then I would gain the freedom to use my time with fewer restrictions. There is a country music song with a refrain: "I have never seen a headstone with these words: If only I had spent more time at work!" Balancing time at work and time at play with family and friends is important (and sometimes difficult to balance!) Thanks for your reply!
