it not just a holly war, i see many discussion on JIHAD that muslims are a terror to others, verse in the Quran say that kill the KAFIRs(non muslims) , and punish them and fight them... things like this... take an example, if there is a brand new model of a car and some odd kind of driver drives it and goes for an accident, will YOU blame the car that the car is bad, no! you would go for a perfect driver, wont you, and then observe the car.... then if you want to judge islam do not go for todays people , the QURAN says clearly that "killing a person is just as if you have killed the whole of humanity." i would like to tell that if you want to see islam, if want to observe islam, see the life Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) JIHAD does not mean a holly war fought against nonmuslims for ALLAH, it means to srruggle to strive, Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) said, "the best jihad is by one who strives against (the evil of his) ownself for ALLAH..." plzzzzzzzzzzz visit tis URL if you think that jihad is only against non mislims , kill them where ever you find them ... http://islam.thetruecall.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=225

..^_^ "see the life Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)" the Hadith (sometimes called the second inspiration with the Qur'an being the first inspiration) clearly explains that... see below.. 1. Since Muslims believe that prophets must be sinless, so then Muhammad is not a prophet because in (Bukhari vol. I, nos. 711; 78; vol. V, no. 724) the Hadith reveals that Muhammad had to ask forgiveness for sin more than seventy times a day. 2. He was guilty of false prophecies. first is The 100 yr. Prophecy. (Bukhari vol. I, no. 539) second is The end of the world predictions. (Bukhari vol. IV, no.401) 3. He kissed and caressed the idol of black stone set into the wall of the Kabah. (Muslim vol. II, no. 2912, 2916) 4. He believed in magic, the evil eye, amulets, omens, spells, etc. He was superstitious about many things and made up weird rules about bathroom duties (Bukhari vol. 1, no. 144; vol. IV, nos. 110, 111; vol. VII, nos. 636, 648, 649, 650; Muslim vol. I, no. 458; vol. III, 3 nos. 5424, 5427). 5. He was afraid whenever a strong wind blew (Bukhari vol. II, no. 144) and of eclipses (Bukhari vol. II, no. 167). 6. the Hadith tells us that Muhammad was at times under magical spells, i.e., bewitched, and told lies and did things while under those spells. (Bukhari vol. IV, nos. 400, 490; VII, no. 660; Muslim vol. III, no. 5428) ..^_^ regarding the Christian martyrs in the Bible.. they did not harm others or avenge.. they just tell and spread the Gospel.. why did they do that.. if it is false.. if it where you, will you not avenge???

Moon, do you not know your own scripture? It is clearly stated that Muhammad sinned. And Allah forgave his past and future sins. all the best urban

he did not ask forgiveness for sins, because he did not commit any sin... 1 that hundred year prohecy is not for all people of earth, it was for only those people who were alive that day... 2 are bathroom rules bad,.... and those are just prayers to seek refuge from SATAN the devil. whats bad in it. 3 kissing that black stone(HIJR-E-ASWAD)is not a sin, that stone is from HEAVEN, do you know that, 4 he was afraid when strong wind blows, and i am also afraid of it, why? because previous nations havebeen washed away with the power of those winds,as a punishment from GOD. 5 he was afraid of the eclipse because it is one of the signs of the day of judgement the day of ressurection,.. 6 dont you believe in magic ? so what about the story of MOSES(PBUH)?

Without visiting this site, I want to tell you what my idea of jihad is. It is as you say a war against all forms of evil and not religion alone. It is a call for self-improvement and a right to self-defence. Now all this is fine, only the self-defence is something I don’t agree with. Many Muslims I have spoken to on jihad have said that self-defence means a right to defend their own religion too and since they think that in today’s world Islam and Muslim nations are more and more under attack from the west, they have a right to proclaim jihad. This is something which frightens me, scare me really. I am not a Muslims and though I respect all religions, I do not subscribe to Islamic beliefs and I propagate my own religious beliefs. So does that make me a threat to Islam and therefore eligible for killing?

this is for you sudip.. no of course not, why would a muslim try to kill you, even you are preaching your religion, in islam there are rights for non muslims,... everyone has got his own belief, everyone is allowed to speak freely, even against islam, but with reason... not in mood of fight,[b] i hope you understand.. and whatever you do you will be threat only if you go for war against islam , and then a muslim might kill you , only in war not everywhere.... Hi Moon, So glad to note your very reasonable response. You see, Islam intrigues me because I have seen people of this religion in my own country India for centuries and we have live side by side but what is happening today all over the world should not really happen. I have read many Islamic sites, debated with many Muslims and have tried to understand your religion better. Now, if as you tell me “in Islam there are rights for non muslims,... everyone has got his own belief, everyone is allowed to speak freely, even against Islam, but with reason...” why are non-muslims in Islamic nations persecuted so severely? Why are there so many restrictions on non-muslims in Islamic nations? Doesn’t this go against the very spirit of Islam? And then if I am allowed to freely and peacefully preach my own religion in an Islamic state, isn’t that seen as a threat to Islam? I mean, my preaching may influence some people and they may opt to convert from Islam to my religion…then what?

I am glad to hear you say that JIHAD does not mean to kill non-muslims. I think, however, that many radical muslims do think that, or a least use it as an excuse to kill others. It is so sad that many fanatics use their religious faith as an excuse to do bad things. That behavior is not restricted to Muslims, either. Catholics have killed many Protestants, Protestants have killed many Catholics. Both Catholics, Protestants and Muslims have killed many Jews. The Bible tells of Jews killing Christians and Muslims---and the list goes on and on. I read of many violent actions in the name of religion. True faith of any religion is really based on service, not on hate. Killing in the name of religion is at best misguided and at worst opportunistic.

This is your version and it may be true that it was originally so. But now, the muslim terrorist groups have started killing just because the other disagrees with them.

You confirmed my belief that no religion can ever advocate wickedness and vicious behaviour. Even without reading it my conviction was this . It is people who get fanatic blaming religion for their shortfalls. Every religion would definitely advocate tolerance and love for humanity .

Imagine though a car that was hard to control that in the hands of skilled drivers performed fine but in the hands of average drivers was dangerous, what would you say of such a vehicle? Now imagine also that some average drivers were going around advocating everyone to get this car and saying that the pedestrians that get injured and killed bought it on themselves by not owning on of these cars? all the best urban

Hi moon, I want to ask your forgiveness if you will read something that is not good to you and to our religion ISLAM. I just want you to know that I think this is not the right place to talk about belief because as you know people have their own beliefs when it comes to religions and we cannot force them to change that. Let us show them how peaceful people we are, their will be time that Allah will call them to understand what ISLAM realy is. Its so hard to educate people if they don't listen or read. I hope that all responses here will not go the same way as the first one. Thank you and I know that you don't have bad intention of spreading the good news of ISLAM. But I believe this is not the right place.

Hi moon, Thank you very much for this, it is very informative. It is the case in all religions that fundamentalists often make everyone look bad. I think if more people were to read the QURAN, they would see that the teachings are not like they thought. It's too bad that religions are so against each other that they won't read each others holy books. Blessings.

well, i believe that the nature of every religion is good. it's the follower who make this religion or that religion look bad and useless for humanity. sometime it's because they misinterpret their scriptures. sometime they just lazy to use their mind. they are too lazy to explore the real meaning of their scripture and just accept it literally under the reason that it's "the words of god".
