Do you watch the news or get it online?

I was pondering this one day. I still get my news on the tv, but then I can be known to bounce back and forth. Especially there for awhile when I had Yahoo for my homepage and it loaded Yahoo News along with it. I would read about interesting things while waiting for my pages to load. Now though, I just prefer to watch the local new at noon and leave it at that. So what about you? What are your news habits?

When the girls are in school I like to watch the morning news while waiting for them to get ready. Now that it is summer break I just go to the computer and get my news through Yahoo.

No, I do not sleep in. I have always been an early riser. Forced habit of having had jobs for so many years that started very early in the morning that it is now part of my habits. I watch it in the winter because we often have severe weather and I like to know what is going on. While in the summer I know the weather will always be the same. Hot! Also I watch in during the school year because I get to many interruptions with waking the kids up, making sure they shower, brush their teeth and eat breakfast. You would think that since they are teenagers now that they would need less supervising but I think they actually need more now. They seem to like to go back to the rooms and go back to sleep.

First thing I do when I turn on my computer in the mornings is check the online papers - I love them! We have papers delivered on the weekends, because I think it's a real treat to read them on the verandah with a morning cup of coffee. I also love the news on the telly ... I'm a bit of a news addict!

At least you are well informed. I cannot give that much attention to the news. There are always baby killer or some other heinous thing and it makes me furious. Then I am mad and can do nothing about it. So I choose just what I need to know.

Thank you so much for the Best Response - and I totally agree with you about being upset by children or animal stories. They leave me upset for a very long time afterwards, so if I know they're coming up I turn the channel over!

I like to watch the local news channels daily and like to continue that. Another source I use to know about local, national and international news is newspaper. I rarely use internet sites like yahoo or any online news papers for getting daily news.

I have heard that online new sources aren't always reliable. Yahoo and the like. So it is probably best to stick with what you know is real.
