Im sure the personality type of parents you had growning up has a major affect on who you are today. If you had an easy going, open minded parent who loved to hang out with u and laugh and have fun, and the other parent a perfectionist, very confident, but also controlling, who when walked into the room everything kinda got uncomfortable, not because that person was mean or abusive in any way, but because they demanded respect, it was their house and wanted people to "do the right thing" What kinda kid would they raise? What type of personality would this kid have with parents so opposite? Do you think this kid or kids would have issues if so, like what. just wondering...

Actually no ... I think the kid is at a very enviable position .. He would have high social skills and would be friendly, easy to get along with because of the parent who is outgoing .. at the same time he?she would be confident and firm, idealistic and would have a sharp mind because of the parent who demands respect. The issues will occus if the parents dont get along and/or fight between them in front f the child .. but the same issues would occus with any other child having any other kind of parent if it saw its parents argue. So, my point is .. no, i dont think there will be issues because of conflicting mindsets, the issues occr because of other issues that most parents forget to realize as potentially harmful for children. I know because I have been there.
