I have been on river cruises during my travels abroad. One of the cruises I had taken was the Chao Phraya River which flows through the City of Bangkok in Thailand. That was a really momorable cruise, a beautiful view of the City, the surrounding. Very relaxing and enjoyable cruise. Have you taken any river cruise ? Where was it ?

River Cruise - Laboc River, Bohol
I've had just one river cruise locally. It's a cool experience. It's the Laboc River Cruise in Bohol, Philippines. The river view and the surrounding places are relaxing. The raft also serves as a floating restaurant so we were served food in that same raft and were entertained by singers and folk dancers. It is a new experience and I was really delighted.

Thank you for your response. I have been to the Philippines once, just once. It was only to Manila. My friends did tell me about River Cruises in the Philippines, but I didn't have the time to go on the cruises. It would have been very enjoyable. I hope next time, I can go on a cruise.

Glimpsing through your discussions, it seems you have lived an interesting life of travel. I envy it. I'll bet your Thailand cruise really was quite memorable. I'm afraid my own river cruise experiences pale in comparison. I have cruised down the Mississippi River on a Steamboat bound for New Orleans. Very memorable for me. Heehee.

Yes, indeed, the Thailand cruise was very memorable. I enjoyed it very much. Cruising down the Mississippi River on a steamboat must be very enjoyable too. I have not had that experience yet. I hope some day, I would have the chance for it. Thank you for sharing your experience.
