I am wondering what activities you do with your 1 year old. My 18 month old and I play pat-a-cake, sing itsy bitsy spider, and read. We also somtimes pretend like shes a baby, or I'll pretend like I'm a baby and she'll take that paci out of my mouth and I'll start crying! What unique activities do you do with your kids?

I love playing with my 22 month old son everytime im at home. We love to watch barney together, we imitate the dance moves and we sing the songs together. We also play basketball at our garage, he loves playing balls more than anything! We also play those little toys he have. We lie down at bed and he would hug his papa and i would pretend that i'm mad and i want my baby to hug him also. he would keep on laughing and will do it over and over again. He likes to run around the house. He wants me to smell him after he's taken the shower. I love and enjoy playing different stuffs with my son. It's very relaxing to see him and play with him.

My son (21 months old) loves to build with mega blocks, do wooden board puzzles, play pretend, with stuffed animals, he has doll stroller that he uses to take his stuffed animals for walks, a bubble mower, balls, a swing and a slide. He loves to play with cars, sing songs, color and paint. One of his favorite things is to read books with me. He will bring me one after another to read or just to look at and talk about. Once in a while he enjoys watching a Wiggles video or Curious George on PBS.

Though my kids have grown up now, I remember very well the activities we used to do together. We used to pretend play cook and serve. We read books. My daughter used to enact the story in her own way, which I have told her the previous day. We listen to songs, we dance a lot(these activities still continues). We also watch kids movies together. We do gardening and also some painting.

erm now then lol! i do a lot of activities with my children who are now 2 and 3 years old but im not sure that any are unique. me and my daughter both like to craft so we spend a lot of time doing that now, when she was 1 years old she also enjoyed sribbling with a pencil and playing chase. my son is more of an active little boy and he cant sit and do things like me and my daughter do, he has always enjoyed me lifting him up of the ground with my feet on his tummy and making aeroplane noises lol!
