What household chore you dislike or hate doing yourself?

A friend of mine really hates doing the laundry because she feels that is too exhaustive, the other one say she could practically do every chore but not ironing because she simply hates the job and finds it too boring. The other one hates washing the dishes because it ruins her manicure while another one said she hates folding the dried washed clothes and arranging them in the closet because she feels it takes so much time and then another one hates cooking because she feels it is too complicated. How about you do you dislike any household chore in particular? Please share!

I really hate washing the dishish. That's all. But I love to clean the whole house and waterring our plants.

I think most men are like you. Men would rather do other chores in the house than washing the dishes. Like my son, he would always say "Mom I will clean my room, please just take care of the dirty dishes." Well of course once in a while I would consent but also there would be times that I would say, "Nope, you clean the dishes first before cleaning your room, I also have other things to do."

I hate ironing. I hate it because no matter how much, I always miss a spot, and since I am very fussy, I want my skirt or blouse to look soothe. I am sort of fussy. I am not good at folding sheets though, but since they are going to be on the bed, I doubt anyone would notice, but as far as clothes go, people do notice wrinkles even on the shoulders,so they have to be neat.
Everything else I do not mind - except for changing light bulbs on the ceiling but that is because I get dizzy and am afraid of falling when I get on a chair.

I like doin the laundry and I also like doin the ironing since i was a lil girl.
I hate doin the dishes...but the thing about it is that I sometimes like it when its a hot day so i can cool off my hands and also it makes my nails grow faster and it makes it stronger

yup, washing the dishes make ur nails grow
just like taking a shower makes ur hair grow....

Oh that's wonderful! I believe that there is truth into it. Maybe I should rather wash the dishes more and more to have my nails grow faster. I love my nails when they are longer because they look like candles. And also long nails are very good to look at with beautiful colors of nail polish. It looks sophisticated if nails are long and polished. Thanks for that info.

Well doing the laundry and ironing are tougher jobs as compared to washing the dishes so it really amazed me that you like those chores better than doing the dishes! At any rate, it's your choice! Keep smiling and have a very good day!

Mopping the floor does it for me. You have to bend over for a long time, move furniture and wash out the mop and that ruins my back and gives me the willies that I'm going to touch something awfull when I'm washing the mop.
The other things don't matter much. I count all I have to do and then tally them off as I do them.
I live alone, by the way, and I'm a bachelor. So these things are a regular for me although its not a lot as with a family.
I still hate mopping.

Mine would be doing the laundry, I truly agree with your friend, it was quite exhausting doing it. I think I like and can do the cooking or other household chores but that. It was quite tedious washing the clothes,and really good thing there's washing machine I can't imagine doing the laundry without it.

yep, definitely, that's one of the reason I dislike it. My hands wrinkled after doing the laundry. Quite annoying. Hear, hear, really grateful for the person who invented it.

Without a doubt, washing dishes! Second for me would be folding and putting away laundry...but definitely could die happy if i never had to wash dishes again..lol

Washing the dishes? Well many despise that chore that's why it is always the source of disagreement in a household where there are many children. Each child will say I don't like to wash the dishes, but oh how they love to eat. My friend once get tired of her children who are all complaining about washing the dishes after their lunch. What she did.... she did not cook anything for dinner and when the children were asking what was there for dinner. She answered... nothing! The children unbelievably asked why? Then the mother answered. "So that there will be no dirty dishes to wash and no more argument in this house." From then on... the children never complained anymore...and better yet... they made a schedule for the dishwasher of the day. Hurray!

My dear cleaning the refrigerator is really tough. Imagine removing all the hard ice from the freezer. And also you have to remove all the contents then clean the whole fridge, removing also its parts for washing. The putting back all the contents again. It's one tough job and would really consume time. And cleaning the oven is also hard but I think not as tough as cleaning the refrigerator. I just do it everyday because I want my oven always fresh and sweet smelling.

Ironing yes it's a tough job but sweeping? Well, maybe you have good reasons why. Maybe you hate the dust coming into your nose!

I so hate doing the bathroom. I'm the only female in the house////so go figure. No body else is bothered by the mess or dirty dishes in the kitchen -- but I am, so I wind up doing it even if it isn't my mess !!!

Hanging all the clothes that had been washed especially if the sun is really burning hot..hahahaha i just don't want to be under the sun rays especially at noon time when the sun is so high up..other than that ironing also is what i hate doing so we have someone do it for us..i only iron the clothes that i will be wearing if it is crumpled but if it is not i will wear it even if it is not yet ironed..^_^

i hate doing the laundry. as long as i can avoid it i won't do the laundry. even if it takes weeks before our laundry woman arrives i still will wait for her. i can do practically all household chores, from cleaning, washing the dishes, cooking, folding the dried clothes, ironing and going to the market but not the laundry. i think it is the most exhausting chore that anyone can do. that's why i love my laundry woman that much because i need her so badly to do my laundry for me.

Can I pick all of them? I'd have to say it was a toss up between the catbox and the toilets! I hate cleaning up the bathroom! I don't mind washing dishes because we have a very pretty view in the window in front of the sink. I can just kind of zone out and watch the scenery as I wash them.

Cleaning the cat box i think is the worst chore to do,the smell always get to me and i hate scraping the box out.

I feel the same. I'm okay with washing and drying clothes, but folding clothes is the worst. I will clean any other part of the house easily and without complaints. I understand your friend so much!

i dislike washing dishware, there is a great many fat,i have to use cleanser essence, it damages your hands. But you must can do it whatever you dislike.

My most hated chore would be dishes becuz theres always those couple that have stuff stuck on a plate or something and it looks gross and you just dont want to touch it and you have to like pick at it with your finger or something. And thats kinda part of my job to so i dont like doing it at home after doing it at work.

To be quite honest I really really hate cleaning the oven! I dred cleaning the oven at all costs.
