Have you ever rated Negative "-" to any mylot discussion ??

I have never rated any discussion negative, nor will I ever do so. It is not fair to do this and reduce someone's earnings. After all, this is a site to post your free views.

Yes, But then I do not pick up a topic to give negative. Only when a person responses to my topic, or abuses me when I respond politely, then the topic is given negative. Whenever I see bad topic,I do not pick it for response. I just ignore.

So far I have not rated anyone as negative and I would not lie to do and hope that I do not have to do so. The one thing which mayt compell me to rate someone negative was if they get extremely abusive on the site.

I've never rated at all. Don't know if I ever will, but the chances of me rating anyone negative is zilch. People have their opinions, who am I to tell them they can't?

I almost always give positive ratings. I've only given one negative and that was because the member was berating the poster of the discussion as well as berating most of the people who responded. He wasn't disagreeing with their posts, he was putting these people down because of their beliefs or their English or spelling, calling them stupid, morons, etc. I checked out his profile and it seemed that he did this to practically everyone! He apparently was here for the sole purpose of causing trouble. That person had to go and I believe he has because I haven't seen him here since that one discussion. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to give him a negative rating. I don't just give positive ratings to my friends, though. I give them to everyone when I feel they deserve it and that is almost all the time.

I haven't really had just reason to mark anyone as a negative response. Noone has been really negative in my experience so I have pretty much marked everyone with a positive response. These replys are based on opinion and experience so there isnt really any wrong or right answer, but if someone answered argumentattivley, or nasty then it would be a consideration to mark them negativley.

I don't rank - either. If I don't like it I just move on to a new one. I figure we all deserve to say what we want and it is my choice if I respond or not.

No, I always rate people's posts positive, even if they have disagreements with me. As to some very insulting responses to me, usually I will ignore it. I won't rate it and that's all. I love China

I have never rated a discussion negative. I have rated responses to discussions negative such as when people don't really have anything to say which bugs me and wastes my time rushing to MyLot to check out the message that they left. I also hate when people get rude or mean to each other because they differ in opinions or even culturally. After all, we are allowed to be different! But for a discussion...I skip out on the negatives.

I used to rate in the beginning but not nowadays. I had rated - once or twice when I saw that the answer was in a bad taste. I have never rated some one negative to hurt them intentionally. Some hurt others by commenting and expect others to rate them positive. That's why Nowadays I neither rate positive nor negative. I have been a victim of such behaviour and my discussions are deleted sometimes. I never answer any of the immodest discussions , I just move past them, just skip them actually. All the best

I haven't and I think I will not. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, if they differ from my point of view, it doesn't mean that they are wrong, and I am right. It is more like, respect! If you give it, you can have it in return.

none yet and i guess i would never do rate a mylotter negative here. even if that person is opposing me everytime. it's better to report that person if does things like that. anyway, correct me if im wrong, im not sure but i guess i have read from the mylot guidelines that never rate a member negative.

I almost always give positive ratings. Sometimes , I wont give nothing if it is just an okay post . If I don't like a subject I will just look away . The person would really have to be a jerk in order for me to give them a bad rating .

I have not started rating anything or anyone yet. But if I start to do it, I would not want to be part of anything that will pull anyones earnings or reputation down. That kind of tactic sucks! Were are all here to enjoy and earn at the same time. We should encourage and help one another.

i never rate anyone -. if i rate some, i always rate +. otherwise it will bring the reputation down. if i do not like the post, just leave it.

hi, i never rated negative in any discussion, if i dont like the discussion i just dont response it. i think we should never rated negative even though we dont like the discussion. we are here in my lot to have a lot of friends. thanks have a nice day.

If I don't like a discussions, then I will skip it also. Very good advice. I have tried to be friend to all on MyLot and rate all with positive plus sign. Someone would have to be pretty mean to get the negative sign from me. Then I would simply report them to MyLot for being mean to others and move on and not get involved. I don't like giving the negative rating to friends and always rate positive, even if I don't comment!

SOo far i have not!! To tell you the truh i havent had any reason to. Yeah i have come across a lot of discussions that i didnt like, but i just pass by them and didnt eve leave a response simply because everyone is entitled to there opinions and there beliefs. And if it happens to conflict with my own an i dont want to cause any angerment, i just skip over the discussion all together. I think thats what a lot of people do here. THey vote negatively when they see a discussion or a response that they dont openly agree with. And then decide to vote negatively in the end.

I have only rated negative once or twice when someone said something really hateful. I do not rate negative just if I disagree. Everyone has different opinions, and has the right to express them, so if I find a topic I do not like, I just do not respond to it, and move on. I do not believe that disagreeing, or not approving of a topic, is a reason to rate as a negative.

There are many discussions in this mylot and there's always something interesting in each discussion. Either it may be the discussion topic or it may be the responses which attracts me towards it. Hence I never gave any "-" rating to any mylot discussion. We can learn something from eac discussion.
