how do you make yours stand out?
it seems that everyone is jumping on the blogging bandwagon in order to make a few extra pennies. with so many blogs out there, it makes it tough to get the readership that you need to make your blog successful, what do you do to attract people to your blog???

I have always been focusing on SEO and content as GPT blog is too stiff as if almost everyone wants a blog like this.

I tried learning about SEO - but it got so involved and so elaborate and so emensely involved that I just drowned in it and couldn't figure it all out. So I just left and did the best I could with what I knew.... didn't say I knew much about it! I was in classes and sessions and you name it I was there. but just couldn't understand it all.

As far as relevancy in SEO is concern, I would incline to believe that social bookmarking may be the key to the success of pulling traffic to your respective sites or blog, whichever may be the case.

Well, mine doesn't really have any readership, but when creating it, I thought the best way to get readers was to put a lot of different information on it. You know, something for everyone. My interests change frequently, one day I'm into cooking, one day I'm into saving money, and the next day I'm into losing weight. So if each time I'm into something new I can post information on that topic and perhaps it will appeal to someone out there.
My problem is promotion. I'm not really promoting it enough, which is why I don't have many readers. That's something I'll need to work on, but I'm just too darn busy on Mylot, LOL.

I am not trying to make any money from my blog, but I like to have as many readers as possible. I have found that the best way of getting people interested is to comment on their blogs, og use trackbacks to stories they have talked about. That seems to get people curious to come visit me too. I also use a site where one can link to blogposts. many find me through that. Eventually friends of friends reads some of my posts, and then if I keep writing quality posts I will hopefully keep them all.
