we have an Australian Shepard we call Maggie. This morning I let her out. When it get hot I let her into the washroom as she is mostly an outside dog. I went out on the deck for a little while and I see the washroom door is open now i was sure that I closed it tight. We have put one of those door knobs that has a long handle because I have trouble opening the round ones. I think that she decided that it was hot enough for her to come in so she opened the door and came in. Can your dog open the doors?

My bassett hound learned ot open the closet doors in the house. Sometimes seh gets in and can't get out and we hear whining! LOL! (Live and learn?) We open the door and her saggy little face looks so sad! We tell he not to..but she won't listen! We are working on it? (Still a puppy!)

Maggie has done this a couple of times before but I blamed it on the kids not shutting the door tightly. I think Bassett hounds are so cute with their long ears and shggy faces.

I like her name, my hubby's pet name for me was Maggie, he said I looked like a Maggie to him. You have a smart Maggie. I have a little dog so she can't do that. My cat can flush the toilet, hehe. He does it accidently when he is jumping up on the back of the toilet.

That kitty is so cute, my cat does it accidently when he jumps up on the back. That kitty does it on purpose and then reaches in for the water, thanks for sharing.

My grandson named her. We thought Maggie is very cute. That's so funny your cat flushing the toilet. You have to watch this on You tube. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WofFb_eOxxA

We didn't train her to do that. She learned on her own.

I don’t own any dog right now. Back then our puppy was still too small to reach the doorknob. However, Dad ever owned a female cat that always turned on the light before she entered the bathroom to fulfill her ‘nature call’. LOL. And when she came home (and the door had been locked), she would ring the door’s bell and then Dad would open the window on the upper part of the door to let her enter in. :P I think pets are always amazing for us. ;)

No she has only opened it when I'm home. We don't live where there are many strangers
