What do you do for mosquito bite?

I put baking soda on it. It makes the part all white. But it looks like as though it might work after a while.

I use Calomine ointment for all insect bites and poison ivy and such.

How well does it work for you? Immediate relief or after a while relief?

I used petroleum jelly to my kids skin that was have a mosquito bite. Haven't heard putting baking soda on it, it is just now.

Oh, you will see. There are ALOT of ways to treat a mosquito bite. =)

My kids always used to take their fingernails and make an X on the bite mark and it seemed to keep them from itching. I've heard that Avon's Skin So Soft is good for them........not sure that I've tried it, although I've used it for many other things. I've also heard that putting saliva (or spit) on them helped. My kids tried that one, too, but I don't think it worked like the X did.

I used to do that as a child..lol it will dry it up, get a anti itch cream also
