what part of the house do you clean first and you clean last?

house - ..

our house is too small with one room in it.(and that's mine.), so I'll clean my room first. I will remove all the trash inside my room. even my stuffs in there, so that I can clean it so easily. and so right after I clean my room , I will keep it's door close so the dust from the living room and into the kitchen wouldn't go in there. the kitchen is the easiest part of the house to clean, so kitchen is the part that I clean last. I just wash the dishes, and wipe its sink and tiles. How about you? what part of the house do you clean first and you clean last?.. and do you have some cleaning tips?.. share it to us!..

We have a big home compared to yours. We have three bedrooms, the living rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. I usually start at the back of the house and move my way to the front of the house. I clean and then vacuum as I go. I hate scrubbing the floors but I do it because I have white tile floors. YUCK.

LOL. yeah, you really have too. vacuum isn't enough to clean a white tile floor.

Hi There, One thing I always try to do is some cleaning every day of the week. This means by the weekend I do not have awhole house to clean. I typically always clean the bedrooms first. After that I will go to the bathrooms and then the main floor. Lastly I do the basement. House cleaning is not always my favorite thing to do! :( cheers,

I clean the bathrooms first,in case we have company.I clean the living room next because if someone comes by that's what they see. Then I do the kitchen,so I can offer my guest's something to drink. Then,I do the bedrooms.

Hi charly, normally my husband’s elder sister and I do the cleaning in our house. I usually would clean my bedroom and bathroom first followed by the big sitting room and then the small sitting room. Lastly I would clean the front porch where we park our cars. I would clean it when my husband goes out by his car. Of course my husband’s sister would clean her own bedroom first, and the bedroom next to hers as well. She would then clean the kitchen and the backyard.

for me i always clean the receiving area first, so just in case you have unexpected visitro/s, they'll find your house presentable and clean. and the last place that i clean is my room. anyway what is important in doing things you always have to be systematic.

My office stays the cleanest. After that I try to keep the living room and kitchen the cleanest. I live in a singel wide trailer so they are hooked together. The main problem is that there isn't enough space in my house for all of the occupants in it so it stays pretty cluttered. I always try to keep the front of the house looking great that way I can have more time to hopefully clean the back of the house.

My office is just a room where the computer is along with a bathroom and my sewing stuff and storage. I just go in there to do my internet work. I also use it for my sewing.

I don't know if its really cleaning but, I just set aside things in their right places when it seems that things are becoming a bit untidy.. that's mostly due to my nephew's way of things, making a mess wherever he goes.. the rest would be stuff on tables that just got piled up.. So I really don't have a particular place that I clean first, I clean what seems to be needed cleaning at first sight and if I feel like cleaning Then again, we often do clean the whole house wherein everyone is involved and we'd be doing it 'til my mom is satisfied. We'd move things, even the heavy ones, in order and clean, wipe, sweep the day through. I think we need a bit of cleaning as of now too

since Saturday is the only day for me to clean our house, and no one will make a mess whenever I'm cleaning, I can actually focus on it, and clean it part by part. not like you, since you have a kid in your house.. that's really difficult to clean. me too, I move everything, our cabinet, the table..etc.. I don't want to see any single dust on the floor.and I also clean the ceiling if I see some cobweb on it.

Yeah, we generally do house cleaning, with everyone, during weekends too.. but, that was before when we still were going to school and stuff.. works taking more time from my brothers and sisters so they deserve to take a break during their day offs. Well, I can't deny being annoyed but, I'm sure I was like that, messing things up, drawing on walls, coloring books that doesn't really need any coloring, like medical books , when I was a young kid too. Yeah, to think that brooms could also clean ceilings.. though we don't have a ceiling, we still do have those dusts clinging on underneath our roof.

I remember way back , when I am still with my mother. my little siblings love to wrote or draw on the walls.. and whenever I saw that I will give them the brush for them to remove those.

I will clean the living-room at first. Because it's one of the most rooms at home. And since it's bigger, so I have to spend longer time on it. I will clean the bathroom at last. I love China

kitchen to bathroom. I take a shower and I want to do the best cleaning where we make food and eat. It wouldn't make sense to clean the toilet then the refrig and kitchen sink. Between the two, I don't think I worry about the order too much. I like to use vinegar and baking soda to clean as much as possible. The other stuff tends to be chemicals, not good for my husband, my cat or me.

Wherever the vinegar or the baking soda won't ruin or destroy stuff. Vinegar and a rag for stove top. Vinegar and baking soda for the inside of oven. One or the other or both for the bathroom sink and bathtub. If you don't have a hard toilet to clean, then both together. I like how they bubble when used together. Separately, vinegar is an excellent rinse and together, they are powerful, but only use small amounts or they bubble over. Take care.

Baking soda works well the rub on things and to get stubborn stuff that needs an abrasive like clorox powder.

Normally, i will clean the small part of a house 1st, followed by the big parts.. Meaning, my room will come 1st, after which will be my parents room, then to the hall and lastly kitchen.. hehe ^_^ NOrmally i will wipe and dust all the table surfaces in my room, then to my parent's room then the hall.. After which, i will sweep the floor starting from my room to my parents room then to the hall, and finshing it up with a mop from my room and ending in the hall.. hehe As for kitchen, it's just sweeping and mopping.. Wshing and clearing of basin, we are doing it everyday right after every meal.. hehe

It depends on what needs to be cleaned the most, usually its the bathroom, I think it gets the dirtiest. Then I'll clean the living room, and dust and sweep the floors. It collects alot of dust, and spiderwebs, I hate those, it seems like I've just gotten them all and then there they are again..lol. We have wooden floors and pine board on the walls and ceilings, everythings wood, and they get dusty, our house looks like a museum, alot of antiques that collect dust..lol. The last place I clean is the kitchen, only because I hate washing dishes, I'll go as long as I can without washing them, I hate it, I've hated it as a child, and I hate it now...have a good day

I clean the kitchen first because I love seeing a clean kitchen and I've been using a new kitchen cleaner that smells really good so that puts me in a good mood. After that I clean the living room and dining room areas. Then I move on to my bedroom, saving the bathrooms, which is my least favorite job, for last.

Thank you for the best answer - I know I already responded but I found this and thought I would share it with you ... New Tips - These are good.... Bed Sheets After drying my sheets, put both sheets and one pillowcase in the other pillow case. Fold neatly in a square. Next time you change sheets, you just take the one pillow case and all the sheets and pillow case are inside. No need to look for matches. Clean your glass shower To clean the glass in your shower easily, apply lemon juice to the glass with a sponge. Then, take newspaper and wipe the lemon juice off the glass. It will be clean and sparkle with no scrubbing! Reheat Pizza Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works. Easy Deviled Eggs Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up. Expanding Frosting When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar/calories per serving. Reheating refrigerated bread To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster. Newspaper Weeds-Away Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers, put layers around the plants overlapping as you go, cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic, they will not get through wet newspapers. Broken Glass Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken pieces of glass - the fibers catch ones you can't see! No More Mosquitoes Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away. Squirrel Away! To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it. Easier thank you's When you throw a bridal/baby shower, buy a pack of thank you cards for the guest of honor. During the party, pass out the envelopes and have everyone put their address on one. When the bride/new mother sends the thank you's, they're all addressed! MINE!!!!! If you purchase a new bike for your child, place their picture inside the handle bar before placing the grips on. If the bike is stolen and later recovered, remove the grip and there is your proof who owns the bike. Flexible vacuum To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings. Reducing Static Cling Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- voila -- static is gone. Measuring Cups Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill it with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry the cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out. Foggy Windshield? Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth! Reopening envelope If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Voila! It unseals easily. Conditioner Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair... Good-bye Fruit Flies To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever! Get Rid of Ants Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," & can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, esp. if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed! Take baby powder to the beach Keep a small bottle of baby powder in your beach bag. When you're ready to leave the beach sprinkle yourself and kids with the powder and the sand will slide right off your skin .

I try to clean at least one room of the house each day after work and so I can't say that I have a room that I start in or end in. I would prefer to never clean the bathroom but it seems to be the room that gets cleaned the most besides the kitchen. We clean it every day as we use it every day.

I usually clean the bathroom first. Its my favourite room to clean, whil alot of people hate it. I hate putting stuff away and finding places for things, but I dont mind polishing and washing things. I mean, just put some mr clean in the toilet bowl and use the scrubber. Its not hard or anything and its nice when everythings all clean and shined up. As for the last room I clean, Id have to say thats my room. Its a pig sty as we speak. I spend as little time possible in here as I can. I only sleep in here, IF i even sleep in here as the spare bedrooms bed is sometimes comfier then this one. So no ones ever in here and I dont really have to worry about people seeing how much of a mess it is.

I clean the room I sleep in and then everything else. I have to spend most of the time where I'm sleeping and have all my books and private things and thats my room. The kitchen comes next since I cook my food there. After that its the porch and then the living room. I think it makes sense to clean the most used areas first and then work your way down the line.
