Analysing my single day's earnings.... a little research on it..

I had a hunch for at least one week that we are not earning as we did in the past month for the same number of posts.
(Yesterday.. i did this..)
Quick Analysis:
1) I responded 15 posts, all lengthy enough. and it averaged around 9 lines per post. This i made once the earnings of the previous day were updated to till yesterday.
2) I never started any discussion, to help me to make my analysis simple.. none of my earlier discussions received any comments during this period. So it does not help me in my earnings. Also i also, restrained from commenting on any old responses during this period of time.
3) Earnings updated yesterday. I got my earnings increased exactly by 0.41 cents only. This means i got around .027 cent per post.
And now the second part of the research, i did this same observation in the past month.. exactly as the above.. every thing same.. and i earned in one day $ 1.15.
Analysis of the result: I could see that the earnings of us has slowly started to decrease, perhaps the revenue generated by mylot through advertisement has reduced..
Conclusion : A lot of hard work is needed to reach out the payout for this month.. Gear up friends. Only three days to go.
or even it could be this way... this month there would be more number of persons becoming active and reaching there payout than the previous month,assuming that the revenue generated by mylot remains the same.

you made a very nice research. i have noticed since long that I am earning little here. it is say about 2 months for me that the rate of earning has reduced.It is really becoming tough job to reach payout these days. i somehow managed to reach payout yesterday. but if this was like the rate earlier, i could have earned more.
May be their earning reduced or may be due to many mylotters, they are paying less.

congrats subha.. you have made it..and i am still in need of another 1.8 dollars.. a lot of work i must perform.. At present i am on leave to my office, and hence ..i think i could some how squeeze through.. in the remaining days.

Dear sai,
You cannot match mylot algorithms at all. I had tried many times to do what you had done, but everytime it was different. The rating would change with the reference and the subject and its importance etc. For 10 posts I have got 15, oneday, 12 another day and 40 another day like that. We can never make that out. So don't worry planning for that, just keep doing your work diligently and you can earn lots.
Some thing which was worrying me at first was star rating and now I do not care about that too. I seem to do well nowadays than I expected. So far better..

Certainly i agree that we must concentrate only on reaching the payout... and not worrying about the formulas in the making of a cent here.

i had been using a sort of monitoring system. i have posted my mylot status in an excel file, everyday. i have my earnings for today, number of posts i have when i started posting and when i ended. but even as i always updated this file, with the current status in mylot, i never got an exact amount. i guess it's mylot's secret...

This site has a great system specially the earnings and it will not be known to us,so all of your analysis will be yours only and it may never be accurate as far as I know. All you have to do is to keep busy and doing hard work to post a discussions with quality for you to earn more.Good luck for your payout.

It is just an extra bit of effort to know how mylot payment system works. Of course, it is not possible to find the exact nature of it. Thansk for sharing views pal.

i understand becuase one day i responded to like maybe 10 posts and got maybe 0.50, then the day after i did maybe 30 posts and i barely made like 0.15 , adthe were all the same length. like you i was confused.

Getting "free money" online is sometimes actaully a lot of work. But good luck reaching payout soon! With my eighteen cents it almost seems like I'll never get to cashout, but I'm gonna keep trying.

What a detailed report and I really appreciate it. Well done! I am surprised that you research it and share it with us. USD1.15 is a nice earning. You are so active lately. On the contrary, I am not as active as the past. So my earning is pretty low these days.

Hello dear friend. It is interesting to have some analysis about your single day's earnings. But it seems to be true that there will be many more mylotters who have not reached the minimum payout this month being more active these days, me included though I have already reached the minimum together with last month's earning added together. That's all well and good, but there is no way that your research could be accurate.
Even if you don't start a discussion today, if you received any answers from previous discussions, you still get paid on them.
I've had days where I have started no discussions and not posted a single response to a discussion, and still made money.
And myLot has never said that we will get paid a certain amount per post. It all depends on how much revenue they bring in, so it can fluctuate greatly.
