Advice About Feng Shui

I am looking for advice and knowledge regarding Feng Shui. My little boy has a wonderful teacher this year, who our entire family just adores....she put's so much of herself into all the children. As my "thank you" to this amazing teacher, I have started working on a quilt that will be given to her at the end of the school year, from the children. I have collected hand tracings from all the children in the class and will be incorporating them into the quilt design... The delemmia here is I found that our teacher is heavily involved in Feng Shui...I have gleaned that Red is the most used decorating color in her home...I have no real knowledge about Feng Shui, so I am hoping someone with some knowledge of it may be able to offer some advice or ideas about things I could/should incorporate into the quilt design and if there are things I really should avoid.
