I have a hubby on min wage and he does side jobs. We have one soon to be 2 children both boys. Then we have a roof over our heads, yes we go 2 or 3 weeks between checks with almost no food sometimes. Or very bare shelves, but we always have food for the children no matter what. But, I think this is a money and whether you got enough society. Getting by is not always about the wad in your pocket of dough. Its about learning and making things count and doubling the little amounts that you do get into something that makes since to your family.

Rich is a state of mind, in my opinion. We live hand to mouth as well, but when I sit and think about my life, I am rich in so many ways. I have a wonderful, supportive family, great friends who are there for me when I need them and children who love me whether they are eating macaroni and cheese or steak. Each of us has blessings in our life that make us rich. It is a choice to remember them and feel rich, or to rail against lack of money. For me, I choose to hold on to the good things, and continue to work at making my life and my family's lives better.

well being rich is all relative; it doesnt necessarily mean you have a lot of earthly goods like possessions or money, as we dont, but i feel that we are rich because we are all healthy and enjoying life.

we are in the same boat. We just asked the state for help after suffering for 8 months. My kids have nooo clue how bad off we are. They know that life is fun and silly. No amount of money can keep a family together or even happy. Just enjoy life cause in the end you can't take any of it with you, and your family will just fight over it when your gone...LOL
