Stripped of the physical mantle, each soul displays its subtle individuality, as it were, in the light of the noonday sun. Men may deceive themselves here for any length of time, by wearing pious looks and dressing in attractive clothes. They may for the time being succeed in deceiving others; but none can play the hypocrite in the astral world where one is denuded of the solid outer covering, the gross garment of the flesh."

Evidence that souls are made-up? How about the fact that it's 100% claims and 0% evidence?

Our physical bodies helps us to recognise who we are-without our physical bodies we are spirit of whom those who are sensitive enough to hear will pass messages on to those still on the physical world-noy the astral/spirit world.
In the astral/spirit plane of life we don't have to be fancily dressed but will be ourselves and try ro make amends to those we perhaps hurt whilst here on the physical plane-all our inhibitions disappear on the astral/spirit plane-littleowl
