i cook alone

though there are four memebrs in our family, myself my husband, and two children, i have to do all the cookng alone, my husband says if he e helps me in cooking my dishes wont taste good, but i feel if someody is helping in which ever small way at the lkitchen the cooking would be more interesting

I think we have the same role in our life,lol!I always cook for our family also.I cook and wash the dishes after.No one helps but i got use to it already.But we made an agreement that every Sunday,its my hubby's turn to cook for our dinner and its been awhile he's doing that.I think that would sound fair to me.

I am just the opposite I hate to have my son kibbutizing when I am cooking as his ideas and mine do not mesh., leave me the heck alone when I am cooking and I am as happy as can be. I know how I want to make something so leave me to it.He can do his own cooking and often does, but not with me, heaven forbid. lol lol.

I don't understand the comment that the dishes won't taste as good... Wouldnt that basically be saying so it's okay for you to have to eat food that doesn't taste good, but not for him? That's a whopper of an excuse, and would never fly in my household. I personally thinking that having a hand in the actual cooking makes it more enjoyable... Plus I can season things more to my taste.
