Which one you prefer

what are chappals?

I'm afraid that I do not understand the term chappal. I gather that it must be some type of foot wear. The word is not in my dictionary. Could it be equal to what we call houseshoes, a soft shoe not intended to be worm outside.

it depends on the demand of the occassion.when going to a formal gathering i do wear shoes. but to a friend's home or a casual stroll, chappals come into play. i prefer chappals a lot as they are light in weight.they allow some breathing space for your feet.they come in various funky designs and chic colors.also with the approaching rainy days, you can not afford to risk your leather shoes.
