For the first time in a week of grief and anxiety, filipinos and fans jumping in joy as Manny Pacquiao emerged victorious in his bout with David Diaz. atleast filipino felt happy and paused for their grief moment to celebrate pinoy boxing champs Manny Pacquiao. I find people yesterday turn their attention to the game. Mabuhay ang mga Filipino.

Filipino community here in the U.S are very proud of Pacmans' victory. We have been cheering the whole time while watching his bout. He is one of the reason why Filipino's should be proud. What a relief from all the problems and disasters that the Philippines suffered the past week. I'm proud to be a Filipino. Though I'm a U.S. citizen now, I am really proud of my race. I will still be a Filipino by heart. Mabuhay tayong mga Pilipino. Cheers!

Yes it is something that we Filipinos are proud of. We see another Pinoy make their mark on the world of boxing. It is a nice news after having lots of negative news for the past days. This news has lighten up the situation at some point.
